We bought a slightly used 467 baler long time ago. Previous owner left the electric plug in after unhooking and tried to drive away lol. At first we had to do some fixing. Hold the plug ends in your left hand, grab the wire bundle and gently push the wires into plug as far as it wants to go, don't force anything. That might help with the connections between the plugs.

I've never before seen inside the works of the final drives on the front axle, and that one definitely was buggered. Hope it's easy for you to get the parts needed to replace what was broken. That new (to you) baler will be nice when the monitor isn't throwing codes. Happy hay season!

Yeah my 07 568 has the same issue with the plug-in, i zip-tie the wire bundles together and i ended up jumper wire for the door sensor as that pin got bent in the plug and broke.

I’m starting to get really stung on parts prices with running the older machines, I’m wondering if the dealers are trying to push people to get rid of the old uns! It’s almost cheaper to buy a running machine and just take the parts off it. Great video 👍

They only made so many spare parts for machines, it stands to reason that after a period of time the supply of them would start to become limited resulting in the price increase. Just like with cars and trucks, after enough years there's just some parts that you will not find unless it's at a salvage yard.

On my 567 an E2O1 code is a "twine actuator disconnected" . If a 568 is the same maybe the baler will still go with net wrap?

yes you can get plastic bands from Canadian Hay and silage out of Barrhead Alberta, I put them on our forage harvestor
