Thank you so much for talking about your pill concerns, there are so many options out there and despite being a flat fee and cost is not an issue in the UK it is still so important to be on the right contraception for YOU! I loved Cerazette, not sure what the name is in Aus but I switched from Yasmin (which made me v v unwell).

All of the things you are asking out of the pill seems a lot like you could use a Copper IUD!! doesn't cause any mood swings, acne, weight gain and it is only like $60-$150 dollars depending where you are located!!! It is a one time fee and you are covered for 5-10 years !!!! so cheap and affective! I have it and it is amazing, don't have to worry about taking a pill at the same time every day either :)

Your life admin day videos are my absolute favorite! Thanks for the motivational boost! I totally get what you mean about people over promoting the Beauty blender cleanser. If I had to be 100% honest with you though.. it really does work... I was a huge skeptic for the longest time and outraged that people would pay almost the same amount as another beauty blender sponge! I find that it removes all the stains out of the sponge really fast without taking bits out of the sponge. You can most definitely continue using the oil and dishwash soup method with a bit more time and elbow grease, but the cleanser does effectively clean everything in half the time and I don’t dread washing my sponge as often. (I wish I knew what they put in the soup which makes it so good) I was a makeup artist at Mac for 5 years so cleaning our brushes and sponges after every shift was such a drag so when I found the cleanser it was a life saver. Hope that helps and thank you so much for all of your videos!

I'm a women's health provider in the U.S. and just wanted to suggest that you look into the IUD or the Nexplanon. They are very low side effect and have lower amounts of hormone than the pill (and one type of IUD has no hormones at all). They can seem scary but my patients absolutely love those options over the pill. A favorite is the Mirena/Kyleena IUD, but I don't know if you have the same brand or equivalent in Australia. Just something to consider asking about at your doc appt!

If you are afraid of the side effect of the pill I can really recommend a coil for you! It's an intrauterine device they put in and it stays in your uterus for up to 5 years. Here in Germany more and more people use the copper coil as alternative for the pill to not have to take hormones as the metal does all the work for you. You don't have to take anything daily and only need to pay once when they insert it. There are also other copper options but so far the coil is the most used... Maybe you have already thought about it but if not it may be worth thinking about :)

It makes a big difference what kind of soap you use to clean your beauty blender! Dr. Bronner's castor soap is far superior to anything else I've tried. I was so amazed at how it restored it to its original colour. Same with white reusable makeup pads, etc. Insane.

Just about the pill, I was on the most generic one (Levlen ED) for about 6 years and I never had acne, weight gain or anything the ONLY thing it affected was my mood swings - I would have one day every month where I was in absolute crisis; I would break up with my ex, cry for 3 hours and then laugh at nothing it was very strange. Somehow I didn't think to change to a different one; now I'm on Femme-Tab ED which is a lighter dosage of stuff so you have to be very precise with the timing. Hope that helps you in deciding about the pill! - Oh I'm also in Aus, hi from Perth by the way :)

@alexakernel8155 жыл бұрын
I'm also a huge fan of the copper iud! I'm a pharmacy student from Canada and it's the only non-hormonal long-term form of birth control, without any of the hormonal side effects from the pill (eg. acne, weight gain, mood swings) it definitely hurt during insertion but afterward you feel totally normal
@theinnertraveler5 жыл бұрын
@@heikesperspective hey, well, I watched many videos about how other women felt through the insertion so I was psychologically ready to do it. To be honest I thought it'd hurt a lot but it didn't. First because it's very fast, I felt 2 stronger cramps, but it lasted 1 to 2 minutes max. And in the same week I still felt some cramps but manageable cramps. Before the Iud I was using the birth control implant. About the bright side, I feel I have more energy, my libido is back.. I can know which of ovaries is realising the egg and that's crazy but awesome. I recommend you to read more about the "side effects" of stop taking hormones, because in the first 3 months can be difficult.
