Getting to St Jean Pied de Port 🚌 | CAMINO FRANCES travel tips

I share travel tips for Camino de Santiago Pilgrims planning to start their pilgrimage hike from St Jean Pied de Port in France and walk to Santiago de Compostela in North West Spain. This video is particularly useful for any international pilgrim planning to fly to Spain or France and needs to plan their journey and onward transportation / travel to SJPdP, a small town in the French Pyrenees.

Hello! I stayed at la vita e Bella and this hostel was good with friendly hosts. But I was sharing the room with 2 other family members. I don’t know if they have a single private room. Perhaps you could try booking.com to read the reviews and availability of private rooms. Buen Camino!

ok, so, arriving in Biarritz, taking the bus (i guess) down to Beyonne and then the train to SJPDP. did you buy tickets in advance or can you buy them on the spot?

I would think it should be straightforward to get a bus to bayonne. I personally tend to get train tickets in advance but I have not caught this train (I arrived on the bus from Pamplona). I use the Trainline app to book trains though in the UK and abroad. I hope this helps.
