I lost my wife 3 weeks ago, who was only 49, and have been binge watching these grief videos in hope of learning how to deal with this pain and sense of loss. Even I can't imagine how Michelle must have felt after losing her husband, mother and a child. Seeing her in this video gives me hope that I can come out the other end of this grief. God bless you Michelle.

So many grieving people here, and I wish I could ease your pain,as well as my own,but all we want is to love those we miss so desperately. Honor your loved ones by loving the others in this world. You are far from alone, let's hold each other up. Remember the oneness behind us all, especially those we love. Commit yourself to appreciating every good thing..and to gratitude.

What a beautiful and sad story. I do understand the loss of my loved one 5 years ago, and then of my Mother just 5 months ago. That love will always be there, but Life does go on. Love will come again. I do believe that. I still have my 2 Furbabies that were in our life since they were 5 wks of age.

Thank you. I honor everyone's loss on this thread. It's a really difficult time in my life now. I'm in my darkness moment. I can't image living life without my husband. "Moving On" is not an option for me, but "moving through" in spirit and honor feels better. I will Never move on, but I will move "through" the grief process until i get to the other side. I am hopeful and grateful 🙏 Thank you.

Me too. There is a national network of grief support groups they meet in person or online at various churches. It's called griefshare. I just lost the love of my life Feb 7. I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know how to regain my will to live. I have so many regrets. The support groups run for four months at . a time. I signed up for one which begins in a week. I found this today , it's $20 for each four month period. Because I can't afford private therapy and the only other group that I found, charges $169. Which is a lot more than $20.

I am so shocked at how much this woman has been through, what a horrendously unfair story of multiple tragic losses. I lost my father and 5 beloved aunts and uncles in a two year period starting in 2020. Then my cat, who was my best friend and soulmate, got diagnosed with cancer and died quite suddenly. Losing my cat was the worst grief of all, because we spent 24/7 together, she was incredible, and I don't have a partner or children so she was everything to me. I relate to what this woman says about others being uncomfortable with our grief and how isolating it can be. May all of us start to heal and have better days ahead.

I could not even fathom how infinitely painful it would be to lose the love of your life, a parent, and a child- all within a few years. That sort of pain would be unbearable, a pain that most people would never even experience. That pain would be so colossal that I know if it happened to me I would be suicidal. I respect this woman so much, she's survived the absolute worst things that a soul could possibly experience. This video definitely helped to bring me a little bit of peace after experiencing the loss of my boy, my sweet baby. I love him so much, I only hope to see him again one day

Grief is truly the most lonely thing to go through. So isolating. People don’t wanna be around you because they’re afraid you being down will “rub off” on them. And then you close off from everyone and self isolate so you don’t burden anyone.

I lost both sets of grandparents, an uncle, my beloved animals, my health, and my entire home and everything I owned. Then I met the most loving, amazing man in the whole world. He was my joy, my safety, my happiness, my security, my caretaker, my provider, my whole world. I literally also said "God has answered all of my prayers and given me this man that I have always dreamed of. FINALLY a true love and a wonderful man after all of those years of previous abuse and terrible relationships! I am SO blessed! Now I have my soulmate and best friend to grow old with!" And then, not long after we got married, and were just about to start building our house ... he suddenly dies VERY UNEXPECTEDLY of an aggressive cancer / Covid complications. It was like a cruel, cold, horrible, dreadful joke. The pain is just indescribable. It's like you can't even catch your breath.

Thank you Michelle for sharing your Grief. Everyone here has grief. One thing that is helping me to get through, is to look around and see all of the people that are still alive that need me and you. Don't hide away. Reach out, talk to people and tell them about your grief. You will find out that they might be grieving too.

Hello miss, I'm sorry about your husband trust me I completely understand your pains, I've had a great deal of lost in the past, I'm a single Dad with a daughter, I lost my wife 5yrs ago and I don't understand it, grief hit's different and every one sees things differently, I felt devastated and I still feel the empty space in my heart, I understand how you feel but life goes on because death is inevitable and we'll all have to face it someday, it's been quite a while and I hope you doing fine ? time they say is the best healer and I now understand it, it'd be nice to have a chat with you or maybe a great conversation if you don't mind sending me your gmail address so i could reach out on you ?.

Wow. I don’t know how you are still standing. Thank you for a very authentic and helpful talk. I really understand when you talk about “busy mode” and that your house fell very quiet. I’m not sure how to get unstuck. My children are adults and at my age it’s not easy to meet people. I will make the friends I have more of a priority and see if that helps to get unstuck. Again, thank you.

So in Follow up: I joined a Widows Group and I was amazed that the stories that were shared mirrored my experiences. I think this really helped and with the focus of the group being ‘moving forward’ in our lives this should be beneficial. I wonder if there is a similar group for men.

Barbara Gray commenting using my late husband's phone I lost my husband last year June 2020 and 4 months later I lost my sister one month later I lost a good friend and neighbor to the virus and then in May of 2021 I lost my sweet Siamese cat she was 12 years old and now I'm alone so I know exactly how you feel and what you've gone through but I keep my faith in God I am 88 years old so pretty soon I'll be joining them when you're young it is so much harder, may God bless you and your family and help you to get through your losses.
