How to write a job enquiry email for your job search? How should the cover letter be? What should you do in your job search?
Recently I received an email from someone, who was searching for their job.
The email was as amazing as it could get. It required me to do a lot of research, go into the details of emails like never before, and most importantly, it did not even mention for which position the job was being searched!
This is the last way to write an email while applying for the job. Even if you match the desired criteria, you may never get the job because the person on the other side never got you!
So in this episode of wari-Q, we will learn how to write an email for a job, so that you end up having the right response - the one that could really help you, instead of taking you further away from opportunities.

Hi Ankur, I subscribed to you fairly recently and was compelled to binge watch almost all of your content because of how useful the content is plus your added charm. On my low days i start with a motivational video of yours because it directly speaks to me and i recommend my friends to do the same because your videos almost always pump me up for the day. It works Mr. Warikoo!! It worked for me. I was able to get an internship at my dream marketing company. Followed the right steps and got the subject line on point. Here's a summary of what I comprehended: Send mail to HR manager and not HR itself because HR manager or someone in power are the ones needing the role to be filled and are getting less emails so more likely to see. They are in power too so likely to forward your mail to HR if it is good, shortlisting you among thousand others who sent to HR. Create curiosity in subject line like "You are a great leader.." or "You won't believe what I said..." or “You have no idea how I got to know you”. Don’t say “Looking for a job” etc because that’s what everyone writes and why would they notice you. Your subject should stand out. First para should be warm and form emotional connect. Compliment them, what you like about them, what quality of theirs inspired you. Keep it very short. The first line should state the purpose and objective. Second para should be about roles are there and what skills you have and how would they fit together. What you have and what company needs. How your skills would be applied in the context of company. Last line should be very direct request, eg "This is the role I would like to request to get into" or "There aren't any roles but I would love to know if there is anything for me" End the email with a question because it compels them to answer it. Also, If answered, you know your cold email trick worked as they read the email. Follow up after ONCE after 4 days. Be direct. Assume they read the email and you're giving them another opportunity to reply. Other key points: Empathy like "I know you don't have time so here is quick..." Be Honest about your interests and previous stints. Start with your interest. Showing you know them. Homework. Avoid using heavy vocabulary and fancy language.

I am trying to follow that funnel concept for writing mail; in the first paragraph, research about the company, a positive thing about that person & what found interesting about that company to you, then your short introduction and finally how the company will benefit having you. At last, I also added a nice signature in the mail containing my contact information.
