I recommend listening to his Mega Remix of this song. Find out how he found all these people on Tik Tok who did their verses and then he did the chorus with them. It was after that Darius reached out with his own verse (the one he sang). And you're so right, endless songs about being a woman because it's been ok for us to show pain and be vulnerable. Kudos to Dax for creating an opening for men to come out of their isolation and share these feelings of the burdened side of being a man. Brilliant.

If you heard the original song that Dax completely wrote. It Hits pretty hard. men have to suck it up, and need to be the provider of the family, and only received flowers after there death. It's hard. She missed a lot due to excitement.

As a divorced fourth generation vet with TBI and PTSD, existing under a VA program for homeless vets, that wakes up most mornings thinking shit still here. I would say the meaning behind this song was taken a whole lot lighter than what I took the song message. I have watched a lot of reactions to this song and his two prior makes of this song and you are the first ones I have seen that took the song so lightly. In short your reaction felt superficial and without empathy.

The song is about mens mental health. The pressure of not being able to talk out loud. Drowning emotions. To be a man, means suck it up. I think the comments reflect your gf last comment, make a song about being a woman. The whole point of this song, is that those songs have always been there. It’s time to let everybody know what men actually go through. Men don’t talk, because it’s expected that we just manage and keep on pushing. The feminist movement is good for womans, but the result is men beeing attacked for showing feelings. But watch the mega remix together, snd really try to listen to the lyrics 😊
