There was a cool hidden feature in this game. When you started to twirl around your right analog stick your character also started to spin the pistol.

One of the disturbing thing about this game is once your HP reach 0% and Mason dying, you actually get an extra scene from his perspective where it either the medic trying to give heart CPR, a Police reporting you down and called for backup or getting taunted by Burner and and then proceed to stomped or bashed your face with their weapon followed by Mason scream and then screen fade to black...

if I remember correctly there was also the Fire fighters if they are near by when Hp reaches zero but I could be wrong, also at the end of all death scenes there's a the unsettling but sad theme that plays too. And I've been looking for the death scenes but can't find them so either KZbin took them down or messed up the algorithm again because I remember watching a short video of the paramedic was trying to save Mason.

There’s one more death scene: one of the burners decapitating you, and unlike the fade to darkness it just cuts straight to black once the cleaver comes down.

The online MP works - it doesn't require added efforts of LAN-tunneling. 👍 If you're not going to shoot-from-the-hip as to when you'll be getting online, join any or all of the PS2 online gaming Discord groups and organize sessions! 👍🍻

I tried to play through it recently and it's real tough, overflowing with charm though. I had it on Dreamcast originally and didn't get very far, but trying to play it now the PC version crashes and has bad controller support, emulating the DC version is possible but i had graphics bugs and widescreen hacks don't look good, so i played the PS1 version which works well though the game has quite a lot of slowdown which can be remedied a bit by overclocking the CPU emulation, but not too much or it affects game speed.

Oh, geez! Something else I didn't know about this game (in addition to upgrading the taser to Syphon Filter ranges) ... What is/are the minimum requirement(s) to get that mobile chaingun? 🤔 Once I acquire the mobile chaingun, can that be utilized in LAN and/or online multiplayer? ... I've been too focused on making a PS2 home LAN, their LAN-tunneling and connecting to PS2 online fan servers to get that far into the campaign to get these items/upgrades. Don't know how the mobile chaingun would actually come into play online, now that I recollect about defending the SWAT trucks - they are stationary.... Regardless, a pegged-out taser would be a blast in online play - especially for silly stuff like setting avatars on fire like it does in the Syphon Filter series. Speaking of which, Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain can be played online again now for the PS2 as well. 👍 Good retro-online nostalgic trippin' is on its way.... 🍻
@lgk4805
@lgk4805 2 жыл бұрын
@@That_Handle requirements for the chaingun is basically to complete all side objectives and earn all medals, in a mission on terror mode, you could try to do that in one go on most missions except the last, the last mission for some reason has uneven amount of enemies for both headshots and taser incaps, meaning you can only do one at a time and have to restart to achieve all medals. as for mp. Dunno about that, i mostly semi speedrun the campaign only, never touched the multiplayer and honestly have no intentions, as i mostly focus on singleplayer. although from what i've heard mp was (is) quite interesting.
