ya seems like whoever did the captions wasn't completely familiar with Melee history since most of the errors were melee related, Salty Suite -> Salty Sweet, Captain Crunch -> Captain Crouch, Inngenn -> in game, "that's why the Hbox becomes one of my goals" -> "that's why it works because the model was my goal", etc

There are some mistakes in the captions such as "Salty Sweet" "Captain Crouch" and "in game" mistakes like these have a big effect because people assume official captions are correct and the hardest parts to caption are the parts that your audience needs the most help understanding. If people aren't familiar with these people and events they can look them up, but only if the captions are accurate. This will probably require a review from someone who was involved in the video or even the speaker themself, but you can reduce the leg work by having your transcriber flag more difficult sections or proper nouns. I know most of these videos are unscripted, but for your skits KZbin lets you auto caption with a script. I hope this was useful feedback.

I stopped following melee closely after the Hungrybox/Armada set at Evo back in the day (I was glad HBox won, for the record), and I come back to a scene where DK is good and AMSA IS A TOP 3 PLAYER (!!!!) this is better than I could have ever asked for lol.

This reminded me of why I got into smash. When I first started, I loved mid tiers, shroomed, axe, and of course, amsa. I downloaded the yoshi pdf from smashboards that had all the tech skill, frame data, and weird mechanics and even tried to learn yoshi. Unfortunately yoshi was just too hard so I switched off. But still, without that first push that got me interested in this community, I wouldn't be here today. So thanks amsa and gg and everyone who loves this game
