Trina has a mouth and should voice her concerns and make her position clear. That if he is currently unable to be present in their budding relationship, like she is, then they need to break up and have space. A lot of people say that she should break up with him and find another man. I don't see why she needs to jump into a relationship with another man. She can just find herself, live her life and be happy single. I agree that Spencer has an almost obsessive need to take care of Ace and while he is like that, Trina should let him know that isn't enough for her. That he needs to get counseling for all the neglect and issues he's still very much going through. That is the only way he can better himself first before being the man that Trina needs.

My honest question to those of you rooting for Trina to move on, why bother to come to this channel? It is a Trina AND Spencer channel. One that supports the pairing. I get frustration about the current story but if you truly don’t like the couple anymore what is the point of torturing yourselves by seeking out and watching the clips of them and also commenting?

I want them to stay together and I still feel like I’m torturing myself sometimes when I watch the clips. Just skip the comments you don’t like. I do. Today I’m okay with Trina taking a break from him, especially if something doesn’t change. He should have decided to stay… at least that way he’s showing balance in choosing her vs choosing his brother. Ace isn’t in immediate danger and won’t remember he missed this one night at dinner so why leave? Totally understand leaving when Portia showed up… but that’s Portia being an ass and taking advantage of the intel that Ava gave her. Ava didn’t know psycho mom was blowing smoke and would immediately run to break them up. It would have been even better if we saw E and P interact today and her planting the seed for E to text Spencer about coming home for dinner. I would just like to see Spencer be consistent in choosing Trina and her actually voice her discomfort with his living situation without feeling like she essentially has to “take it back”. I did not get the impression that he left that conversation thinking any differently about how the living situation made her feel. He needs to realize friend Trina can be just as understanding as girlfriend Trina. Make time for her or come back when you do have the time.

I honestly didn't see smug out of Spencer more as apprehension and anxiety. Which is why he never said her name Trina had to. Spencer doesn't know what to do anymore about his situation therefore I believe that's why he seeks out Alexis for guidance and counsel. If you observe Spencer always addresses Portia with respect and he explains why he's around Trina. He's not going to say anything negative about her because he didn't have his mother and he believes that relationship is important. Portia and her obvious digs on Spencer and interference with her daughter's relationship will cost her.

I liked these episodes in the past 2 days. It’s was nice seeing Sprina communicate without interruption. The writing seemed different. I think the new writers are trying to flesh out their issues and I am will to give them a chance to see what’s to come. I am interested in Spencer’s conversation with Alexis. Only thing I didn’t like was the trauma dumping that Portia did on Trina. She’s your daughter, not your therapist.

I thought todays show was ok. There were some things I liked and some things I didn’t. The problem wasn’t the scenes necessarily, but the storyline. I’m personally maxed out on Trina giving everyone room or excuses to put her second. Ace doesn’t need two ppl to feed him and for her to concede so quickly is sad to watch. I also dislike Spencer not pushing back more here. How hard is it to say, “we had plans and I want to be here”?…Anyway, I hope we continue to see Trina expressing herself. And I hope Spencer has a coming to Jesus moment about how he’s moving too. Bc what I don’t want to see is Trina constantly sacrificing or worse, begging for love. And I don’t want to see Spencer abandoning all sense of self to raise his brother.

@@bonniewynn8476 I’m always team “get professional help”. I miss when gh would have therapists or counselors who weren’t just used to put characters in to institutions. Honestly all three could use someone to talk to. Not only do the characters NEED professional help, but it could also be a great tool for storytelling. I’d love to see Spencer sit down and unpack his problems without needing to sugar coat anything. We rarely get his pov since Cam left for school.

I agree. We have been watching Spencer treat Trina this way for two years. I wouldn’t want that for my daughter either. She plays on her vulnerabilities, and uses her ability to be empathetic against her by crying fake tears and laying guilt trips which in turn causes her daughter to second guess herself, her perception. Along with that comes her feeling as though her problems are not only small in comparison to the narcissist but insignificant.. So every time Portia cries, which is pretty much for everything f*cking thing, Trina makes herself small, and places her agency on the back burner in order to see to it that her mom is happy. Meanwhile what is Trina getting out of it? NOTHING. That's manipulating one's emotions. How do I make my mom feel better? Meanwhile her mom could care less about what makes her daughter feel better. Lastly, this isn't Portia concern about how dangerous Esme is(example already of why. This is about her wanting her daughter all to herself. I'm tired of her exploiting her daughter's trauma at the hands of Esme for her own personal gain and using it as a weapon against Spencer and his relationship with her daughter. I'm sick of her exploiting Curtis's current physical condition for her own personal gain and using it as a means to guilt trip Spencer and her daughter. Portia is sick in the head. She is no DIFFERENT than Esme. Both are cut from the same goddamn cloth. Whoever this person is will serve as a wake up call to Spencer nothing more. This is about them and outside forces looking to break them up. And I wouldn't at all put it past Portia to have called Esme to get in touch with Spencer. Oddly the same thing happened at Curtis's birthday party. How convenient. P.S. I think that Curly headed, One-tear-drop clown gave herself away by bringing up the classes with Esme. Idk, those 'REAL sprina writers' also had Spencer in 9.5-minute-long scenes with the drugger while he was shirtless and post-Greenland, they never let Sprina have a conversation that lasted more than 45 seconds. People are putting a lot of blame on Spencer bc of Esme. Spencer is thinking of his brother. I believe him when he says he wants a family and with Laura gone, Ace is his family. Trina is thinking about her family and that is getting in the way just as much as Ace and Esme are. Trina can’t fix what’s going on with Portia and Curtis. They need to do it. She also needs to stop taking herself out of the equation. Spencer is with Ace and Esme, bc Trina doesn’t want to be around Esme. Yes, what Esme did was horrid, but the idea that she’s giving her so much access to her boyfriend is absurd. Stake your claim and stop letting her take a position of importance. The girl works and Ace is at daycare, so why doesn’t she go meet up with Spencer while she’s gone. Better yet, talk to Alexis and get her to make Esme work more. A relationship goes two ways. Spencer might be with Esme because of Ace, but stop giving him to her, when you don’t have to. If your feeling left out m, tell him, don’t give him permission and feel sad when he takes it. Your not dealing with someone on the other side that plays fair. Esme asking him about dinner shows that she’s getting attached to Spencer. So Trina needed to invite herself along.

Trina wasn’t given the ability to “stake her claim” after Spencer trauma dumped on her. He uses Trina’s selflessness to his own favor. He needs to stop being selfish

Trina is being written to make excuses for Esme, even to suggest she be released from jail. Even when Spencer criticizes Esme and her lack of respect for Trina, the writers have had Trina defend Esme. Trina's popularity is being used to prop up Esme's redemption story line. If Esme is now such a good mother - Why does Spencer need to be around her 24/7.

@@lisacox3750 I’ve said the same thing too. I know Trina hates what Esme did to her, but that’s no reason to let Esme, memories or not, have more time with her boyfriend. If she is going to be in Spencer’s life, she should become auntie Trina to Ace. When she gets frustrated with Esme being there, when she stops by to see Spencer, she needs to suck it up and until Ace goes to sleep. Then her and Spencer can spend time. Without the two of them. And Ace must be about 9 months old. He better be getting more than a bottle for dinner. Look out for Esme getting food thrown her and having to take off her shirt or trying to take off Spencer’s if he gets dirty.

@@lisacox3750 I understand completely why Spencer and Trina are doing what they are doing in the soap world. My comment was more of a real world comment. It’s obvious what the writers want. They want Esme to do more and more to come between Trina and Spencer, as Portia does the same. What I don’t think will ultimately happen, is them both succeeding. Trina may end up closer to Curtis than Portia in the end and with them keeping Jordan in his orbit, he may return to her. Esme will set Trina up to believe the worse about Spencer, but will fail. How far she will go? It may have to do with drugs, since we know she likes using them. Esme may end up in jail, but I doubt if she’ll stay there. The Sprina, in spite of Spencer’s misdeeds are for now destined to be apart, until they decide it’s enough. They’ll get together and either be back burnered or get another obstacle to their happiness. They’re young and have plenty of time before their soap form of happily ever after.

Portia really? After Ava tells you that Spencer is with Trina at the gallery - you rush over to the gallery with dinner and then say..."I didn't mean to intrude", insistent on mentioning the parenting classes they you pushed, and ask about Ace and Esme. Subtle much. 🙄

I Believe the Curtis find out about Portia destroyed Trina and Spencer love and Chris will not be view beyond happy about Portia destroyed Trina and Spencer love and Curtis will make sure the Portia need to Leave Spencer and Trina Lone now and before Portia will do Something real dangerous to hit Spencer and Trina yes Portia will go in do it yes Tina and Spencer get hits bad but not severely bad but Esme will remember and get jealous and get it real go to jail after the truth comes out about everything she's done in the past and up until now and whatever Portia is telling Esms to do she is do it will backfire on Portia and Esme both are both going down together
