The events are directly after the conclusion of volume 3, with Team RNJR making their way to Haven Academy on foot from Ruby's home in Patch.

This show (at least volumes 1-3) is perfect for making love characters so deeply that you think nothing bad will ever happen to them, and then going "oh really? Watch this" It essentially takes away the concept of plot armor. Love this show

I forgot you were dropping this yesterday, but just having gotten back from a conference, most of my day at work was going over stuff from the conference and then watching hockey playoffs after work. But then I saw this today on my feed when I went to pull up something for background noise and had to go and watch it now. Ok, let me give you hope. Pyrrha is my favorite character, and it’s very sad that she is gone, but as a whole this is my favorite volume. Great fights,amazing character development and awesome songs. Yes there will be some sad moments, but there are also fun moments. We are also going to get some new character. So sit back and enjoy this volume, and don’t worry I know you’ll like it. 😄

Agreed on most things, but I kinda disagree on "great fights". I wasn't a huge fan of most of the fights in volume 4 (or volume 5 for that matter). It felt like the animation/choreography was just really lacking, and they didn't really hit their stride in the new engine until volume 6 in my opinion. The mid-volume fight in v4 (ch6-7) is pretty cool though.

When these episodes were first coming out, I didn't watch volume 3 until volume 5 finished and volume 6 was about to come out. I heard that it got bad (in the feelings type of way) and didn't want to have to prepare for that. When I did catch up and watch volume 7 and then 8 week by week it was torture, because the story, animation, and fights etc got so good that I didn't want to stop. So I can't wait for your reactions, keep up the great videos my man :D

Oh it's good to be back. Chibi is of course absolutely delightful and there will be more, but Volume 4 is gonna have its time to shine now No comment on the narrator? I find that kunda fun and cute how World of Remnant changes who's telling us about stuff as the series goes on. The first few were by The Narrator as we knew her then... Salem. We were used to being read to by her, so that fits. Then later we had Ozpin telling us stories, literally a fairytale :) And now Ozpin is missing, and Qrow takes over the teacher role. That grimm is an ape, which are rather intelligent. Probably also quite old but they do take after their animal counterparts :) So hyped for later today! I have a few specific moments I especially am looking forward to seeing, but also just your reaction in general is so great, I'm antsy

Potential Dark Joke warning…The character short is pretty much an Anime Adaptation of Harambe’s death, but with Ruby experiencing the roles of both the Little Boy and the Gun-wielding Zoo Official. It even ended the same way with being killed by a gunshot. Also, this video came out roughly 4 months after the incident. Depending on how long it took CRWBY to write and animate this episode, I bet they may of thought about changing the animal-style design of that Boss Grimm.
