You send money from Europe, it immediately reflect in the recipient account/mobile money account in cedis . I don't think these monies gets to Ghana or reflect in the books of Ghana on the international money platform. The government should find and block the loopholes, unless its the friends and cronies benefiting from the illegalities. Our institutions are weak. In the west if the authorities decided to come after you for inappropriate misconduct, you face the consequences. Its not Ghana ,that you just have to join a political party and the issue is swept under the carpet.

This issue is not a foreign exchange act or law matter, neither it is a rocket science. BoG should check how the cedi leg of the transactions are funded. I have a feeling BoG, politicians, banks and businesses in Ghana are funding the cedi leg of this transactions
