Excellent video Faerghast, you've sold me on a title I knew nothing about prior. Everything about this speaks to me, love how experimental or classic these indie RPG's tend to get. Will be trying out the demo and praying the game eventually gets a console release.

It's Live a Live X Octopath Traveler. I don't know how to feel about such heavy "inspiration". But the part about figuring out everything by yourself, and the fighting system seem very promising. Both of these have been bothering me for years. Oldschool games didn't use to be so tutorial heavy, and turn based combat gets somewhat on my nerves after playing it too much. Which I defenitely do as Pokemon/Fire Emblem/Octopath/Triangle Strategy (and so on) player.

I've wishlisted it on Steam but the scope of this game has me cautiously optimistic since it is a sponsored piece. Because often times games with such a wide scope with lots of aspects to them just kind of do them all very meh and don't quite up to the promise of the devs. And that's also not completely one person's fault, sometimes things just don't quite come together. If I remember to come back to this comment I'll leave an edit on what that was like. Edit: So my early reservations while understandable seem to be mostly unfounded. I think the whole turn based and real time changes are underwhelming as is, but one doesn't affect the other so it's fine just maybe not a headlining feature. Also the difficulty curve is... well it sure is something. That being said the devs did release an FAQ saying that this is intentional for the demo so I'm not too concerned about it. Overall it's pretty solid and I am looking forward to the full release.

I think it's gorgeous, but there should be a brightness setting in game though, you're right, there is a lot of brightness though.

You can probably turn the bloom off like in most games. I personally always turn bloom off for better performance xD

Me who plays Age of Wushu Dynasty by Snail Games on my IPhone. Does that mean there is schools like Shaolin,Wudang, Emei and a few others like locations you can visit while playing.

It's 80% mimic to SE's true HD-2D, which is impressive enough. What is not impressive is the UI design, full of trash mobile MMO icons. Need to change that.

I'm sure the game is nice, but I've outgrow the low budget pixel authentic if games like these. My poor eyes can't handle it anymore.
