What I truly think is, Asian people are afraid that Blacks will stop supporting their business's. Like in NYC when they lied about Blacks harassing them, in order to get a bill passed. We stopped supporting them the way we use too. Now they claimed they didn't care. But upon further research, many of their small business closed after that and the ones that remained open, they were asking the government for help. So to sum it up. As someone who was born in Jamaica but been here from my preteens growing up in Flatbush, Brooklyn I can speak convincingly like any other New Yorker but when I get really comfortable with or real mad at someone or about something that Jamaican accent will at times start to creep out. The same is true for a lot of folks whose parents are from other countries or cultures with a distinctly different language/dialect. The accents can and do find their way into your speech pattern so it don't have to be fake. You should hear some Cuban, Chinese or German Jamaican speak. You might think they are faking or mocking Jamaicans. 😂😂
