I used to work at Resort World Sentosa, they have the exact underground city where all our offices are at and we have 5 to 6 cafeteria with amazing food for free for our team members as well. They have the exact uniform wardrobes that we can tap our staff card to get our uniform!

One word, 'WOW'. That underground city is huge. I guess that MBS doesn't want to mistreat their staff. After all, in order for them to serve the guests, they have to be served first to form the loyalty to MBS.

The one for regulars or the one for part timers?the one for part timers is mediocre, acceptable but meh..... delicious if u are poor and working for $7 an hour I guess Most of it is catered to Filipino and PRC tastebuds cause 80 percent of the staff there is....

@@jont2576 er everyone at mbs eats the same food at the same dining room. Just that there’s a smaller one located near casino since the whole property is huge so it makes sense to have one nearer to them. Still, food is the same.

I worked there before as an event helper. The food you see here is amazing, and this is just on normal days. Every tues and thurs they serve free flow ice cream (back when I worked there), and special occasion they serve seasonal food too. I had log cake and turkey during Christmas season. Not to mention salary and cpf. Not sure whether I can reveal much but let's just say they are very generous.

I used to work there part-time, there's actually another smaller food hall for employees a little bit more inside the city. The food quality and selection are great, there are even computers in the main hall for employees to surf the net while on rest time.

I also used to work for Marina Bay Sands as a casino dealer was in the 1st batch casino dealer food looks better now then it 1st opened I left them after 1 year of working for them

With mobile internet now so easily accessible via mobile phone I'm quite surprise they still provide computers for employees to surf net :) Just a thought anyway but nevertheless such cafeteria with wide spread of good quality food is a great employee benefit.

There's actually 2 Dining area. The one you're at is for the Hotel, F&B side. And then there's the other one for the casino side. Where the casino staff makes up of about 1/3 of the total strength.

i love mbs underground city. i'm always amazed at the conveyer belt uniform system. i enjoyed myself while i was working there for almost a year, brings back memories. Everyone plays a part in the operation. It's a lovely place.

Having worked in RWS and MBS before. Resorts World Sentosa also have a similar underground city, the only difference is the quality of cafeteria food. The MBS cafeteria food wins hands down.

I used to work part time specifically at the Team Dining Room during my school days (More than 5 years ago). I was in charged of the cleanliness and the restocking of the food. I was impressed by the variety and most importantly the QUALITY of the food and its actually buffet theme! The western food was my favourite, they had mushroom soup, mash potato and pasta. All the food there are freshly made and if within a few hours it's not cleared, they will replace it with fresh ones regardless. Its just pure amazing that everything look exactly the same after so many years.

Am an ex-MBS staff. They have varieties of food up to hotel standards, also splitting to breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. My favourite is definitely breakfast, its like hotel’s abf standard. Supper is for staffs that does night shifts like casino staffs and janitors (PAD).

I love how mbs construct it heart of house . And they are linked or special design that the whole mbs is accessible by lift . Basically you can go everywhere in mbs using some lifts in mbs underground aka heart of house . You can also go the mbs convention buildings or shopees marina bay sand . All is interlink . Can also go casino .. The whole heart of house is actually bigger than what ghib ojisan have record. I guess Some parts/some places is not accessible to non team member . Ex former mbs team member .

Yep! Used to work there in MBS! We would have to go there to get our uniforms etc and to have our staff lunch too! The meals there are honestly so gooood, they'd even have ice creams on certain days... 👍🏻 I left quite quickly because I hated MBS's management and how they treated staffs.

@@ndyoyo1905 Basically, I used to work as one of the staff for skypark where we'll take pictures and do sales there. And our higher management who was in charge of us were both male and female Philipinos, and they'd always force us to hit the KPI for the day by getting us to sell e.g. a picture to tourists for $100+ and apparently we can play around with the prices and trick tourists into buying a filmsy piece of picture for $100 or whatever lol... But anways, they were more lenient towards other philipino staffs and will be biased etc. Also back then, we were all supposed to wear black shoes for work and this philipino female manager came to me (Chinese) and said that I had to buy new shoes because the soles were not black as well, and because I didn't want to change it and already bought it for work, the manager went to her manager WhatsApp group and claimed that I was 'too poor' to buy entirely black shoes and so she decided to take 'pity' on me and let me off. Lol what a piece of work that female manager is. And I'm not even done yet. So because we take picture for tourists and sell them, we also take pictures at the famous swimming pool (Infinity Pool) and sell it to tourists. This means that we'd have to wear those swimming suits that were worn by EVERYONE who worked there, and the swimming suits had NEVER been washed AT ALL. Because of this I got loads of red rashes all over my body, and my female colleague also got affected with the same thing as well. Besides this, the other philipino male manager also arranges the working shifts and he'd always assign me with him to be stationed at the Infinity Pool to take pictures there, and also other female workers too... Both of the philipino managers would be in cahoots with the other philipino staffs and make others do more work. I remember quitting with my female friend, and also heard from other close staffs that they also quit too because they had join much earlier than both me and my friend, and they also lodged complaints to MOM regarding the 2 philipino managers. In the end, I heard many of the staffs quit in one go and the 2 philipino managers were scrambling to find replacement etc. That's the last I've heard, but I reckon that the older staffs have faced much worse experiences, hope they're all doing well. Sorry that I took quite a while to reply! I've been busy lol.
