I'd like to preface this with I've never heard of kentaro or any combo around it but I think from this video I figured it out. Reduce the cost by 2, then add cloud stone curio, and finally aether flux reservoir. Infinite storm and damage from the reservoir. I believe that's how that works.

Yes, that's what I can see from the cards played in this video. We just havent seen the cost reducers. If he's not intending on using cost reducers to abuse the cost replacement on this Commander, then aside from the style points of Samurai Tribal and winning anyway, the stronger and more flexible version of the same deck would be God-Eternal Oketra.

Playin' with Kadena is a queen strategy, the more you protect her, more value the game has, attacking, even not knowing that a stone idol would pop, is not necessary

just play jhoira for that, faster due to lower cmc and way less likely to fizzle as actual card draw means a land on top isn't a big deal you have to circumvent in another way. The one thing white really gives to that approach are second sunrise effects which are even more all in and not really necessary as mass artifact bounce is plentiful and works basically the same in jhoira. Elsha kinda should be her own entity. A more grindy approach seems smarter/more delicate.

Narabedla stax storm. Being that she enables you to play everything at instant speed it allows you to play a little more controlling while still being explosive with combo potential. If you’re not abusing elsha’s ability to just sit there and react at instant speed than you’re not fully utilizing her to her potential.

3:40 I was under the I impression clever impersonator entered the battlefield & THEN copies target permanent. Meaning the copy is already on the battlefield and it does not re-enter and you cannot re-trigger that ability.

I can see what you're saying, but it does work. It has something to do with the wording of "You may have X enter the battlefield as copy of" meaning you need to pick your target prior to it entering. If a clone were to come in and then choose, it would immediately die from the static effect of it being a 0/0.

The mimic vat token only exiles at the beginning of the next end step. So if you create it during the end step, you'll have it for the entire next turn.

you can go with sensei's top+an artifact cost reducer and go for an aetherflux kill. Been tryin' it and seems working so far. you can also go with thought lash+jace/lab maniac. i've seen also some list running proteus staff and go for the kill with isochron scepter/dramatic reversal and aetherflux

Don't get me wrong, it's very effective (was my primary kill in djoira V2), but, meh, you know, it's easy and not classy. Yeah, i'm weird. I'm actually looking for some weird combinaison, weird synergy, unpredictable thing that may drop a "what the hell" from my opponents/friends. I like to brew. When you destroy mimic vat the creature thats under it stays exiled. it only gets into grave when another creature is exiled with it. so max should have lost his commander forever. regarding that "way to get back ghired"

How coud eny not play Voice of Resurgence in a populate deck!? I build my own trostani graveyard inspired by yours. Still think Trostani is better than Ghired. Only thing Ghired do better is Kiki effect abuse.

No, it always gives the token haste. "At the beginning of combat on your turn, create a token that's a copy of equipped creature, except the token isn't legendary if equipped creature is legendary. That token gains haste."
