Man, after the first mission, I felt some serious Wildlands vibes. I was already using G28 for a few months so the sound change was very very noticeable. Im now getting detected more often since I've been enjoying the sound without suppresor with every bullet lol

This was a really good update to the weapons. They actually sound like realistic firearms rather than glorified Paintball guns. You can hear the metal clicking of the gun’s internals and the bullet cracks much clearer. That M110 and M4 is insane!

You know what would be great in the next Ghost Recon game? If they included somewhere on the map a firing range that goes to 500 meter. It could be placed on the edge some where on the map or in the middle of an ally base, somewhere you can practice shooting without triggering enemies. They can even use those metal human shaped targets that make a noise when you hit it, that plinkers use.

Feels like they uncompressed the sound files for a more punchy sound, actually sounds more like a real gun going off. The slight Crack as the round isn't likely subsonic is nice

1000%. Almost every handgun and SMG sound horrifically weak and like literal toys. Don't know why they don't relicense the audio from Rainbow Six Siege or Far Cry (any of the Far Cry's, really, but especially FC5 and 6. The way the 1911, M9, and Dessert Eagle sound in Breakpoint is simply shameful. So pathetic. So unsatisfying.

I started laughing from excitement and happiness with the way these news sounds hit. The difference is night and day. The G28 was astonishing to me, then you also get the report echo as you do in real life shooting outside, man I'm still so impressed. They all have a real "thump" to them and suppressed weapons sound amazing as well. They really knocked it out of the park with everything on this update! The .45 cal pistols got a nice tweek too, my home theater system is loving it.

Yeah I know what you mean, but using a burst fire or shooting a fully automatic burst at their heads often does the job instead of pulling the trigger twice.

New sounds on all the new weapons and updated weapons are AMAZING (except the TAC-50, it's just ok). I really need them to update ALL the old weapons audio ASAP. All the pistols sound terrible, basically, so they should do those first and the AK-platforms. Then the Shotguns, they mostly sound horrifically weak. Sidenote: anybody know which M4 variants ASQD is using in the new audio clips?

The thing about the old M4 sound is that it actually sounds kind of like a suppressed M4....the new one, not so much imho. But it's not that big of a deal, just starange to rework one of the better sounding assault rifles imho.

I wish they would have split up the shots into 3 sounds. 1. Air coming out of the barrel 2. Bullet breaking the sound barrier 3. Bullet impact. They might have but I kinda doubt it. A suppressor would only remove the first sound. Subsonic rounds would remove the second sound. Anyways positive change is always good.

I'm loving the m4A1 reworked firearm sounds especially when it's suppressed. Hopefully they rework most of the gunfire sound affects, the 516 sounds weird with semi auto but okay when it's on full auto. Besides manner cosmetic details and all I'm loving this update, I'm pretty satisfied with conquest mode and might just play it again cause I had soo much fun. Chefs kiss ubisoft.

Super impressed when I heard that m4 new sound... its enough for me to re-download the game. My complaints with still are.... I work armed security details in the real world. My duty weapons are a springfield xd 9mm or a sig sauer p320 m18 the mag capacity in both those guns in game is off. The sig only having 10 rounds in game but I have 17 and 21 round mags on my kit. 1 17 in the gun and 2 21's on my belt. I also have a rifle in my patrol vehicle. I have a ruger 556 with mil spec parts fore grip and a holo sun red sight. Basically a civilian variant m4 so I know what that sounds and feels like. My other rifle is a tavor x95 basically tar21 in most video games, fore grip and red holo sun. Compared to the actual guns I use for work the game felt so weak I just couldn't do it and dropped it off half way through the game.

I like the old suppressed sounds for the M4A1 better, I prefer the old unsuppressed G28 audio better as well. I feel the new one has too much base and guttiness to it, it's just a 7.62mm lol. TAC-50 unsuppressed sounds are barely changed at all and I have no opinion either way on those. I'm leaning towards the old ones from the tiny difference I can see. Suppressed are better for the TAC-50 now. All my opinion of course, but overall? Meh. I don't think weapon sounds are ever really going to be Ghost Recon's thing. They're good, they're not really an issue for me, but they aren't going to be matching MW 2019 or Insurgency: Sandstorm's sounds.
