Ghost Towns and More | Episode 18 | Gold Point, Nevada

If you're looking for a ghost town that looks like something straight out of an old 1800's movie then Gold Point, Nevada is perfect. Its very dusty and remote location on the southwestern Nevada border is ideally situated to give the visitor a sense of being back in time with the surrounding environment looking much the same way it did back when the town thrived. With well preserved buildings and artifacts, there's plenty to see to make the drive to this remote spot well worth it.

What a Professional Production! It's a Pleasure to listen. Gold Point generally has an appealing location, and I've a special fondness for Nevada, I lived there 17 years. Not interested in returning to the Las Vegas area, time just allows for change and ... But, I am interested in possibility of another Nevada location. Having acess to resources is a factor, as I've never been one to enjoy the "roughing it scenario". However, I love Exploration and Discoveries! Best Thoughts ...

I mined tule canyon in 1995, and we pushed that airport in , the north-west of gold point at that time. Unfinished but established. Night shift manager position. Pulled 20 oz a day in jewellery grade. Wire gold. China-man’s teeth, Galina, haematite, Great time
