Good review! I think Jinxx looks really good. I don’t always watch reviews before I get my figures just because I kinda like to be surprised in a way but I’ve watched all of these three that you’ve done on this latest wave and it’s close between this one and the Retro Beach Head on which one is my favorite. I can’t wait to start getting some of my figures on the way, supposed to ship out some in the next day or so.

At first, everything from Amazon was supposed to ship out by May 31st and then they pushed everything back except for the Retro Wave. I think it's a case of people want to judge things for themselves in-person, rather than having someone preview it for them. Then there are also people who don't want it spoiled for them, which is fair also. Everybody collects differently at the end of the day, but people like yourself are also appreciated. Thanks for the early look. I kind of see your point. Hasbro in the design gave her a sleeve tattoo which I don’t think they have done in the comics. So they give her that tattoo but not the Arishikage clan symbol on her forearm as it is shown in the comics briefly. So to add to her mystique they could have done that on the figure instead of the cherry blossom. I do wonder if the clan members are supposed to cover the tattoo, so she may be doing what she should. It’s definitely more effective for her to have the wraps as a warrior. Maybe compromise and have symbol on the sword sheath. I agree the strap missing is a bit distracting. I’ll fix that myself. She has a big sword. I may switch out for a smaller katana and have the health on her belt in the rear.

Great review as always. I don't watch many GI Joe reviews anymore but I always watch yours. I'm really glad they gave her an unmasked head sculpt with the blindfold. One thing I don't like is the constant changes in the packaging.Hasbro needs to decide on something and cut it out already. I prefer the packaging from the previous wave. You know the original packaging that the line started with.

Been looking forward to this figure. She, Beachhead, and the Eel are the only figures from this wave I’m interested in. And in that order. Although I would have preferred her without the wraps so we could see the Arashikage tattoo on her forearm. But I can’t deny she looks great! Very disappointed I have to now wait until August to get her in hand.

I think a Naginata is more of a swordblade on a polearm, kinda like a scythe with the blade tip pointing forward but thats no big deal. Great review of a simple but great looking figure.

I got Lady Jaye's 2nd card release, but was a little bummed that Jinx was such a costume departure from my figure I had as a kid, still debating on her. Nice touch with the blindfold, but I miss the red sleeves, and am not digging the tats, especially with the clan observation you made. The original figure's mask had the loose, flowy look of the rest of the costume, didn't have a knot on the back, and was slightly pointed at the top, not in love with those changes. Thanks for the review and insight! I love this character, I had multiples of her as a kid because I kept losing her staff, I'm hoping to see her at some point in a truer silhouette.

If she had the tattoo it would be under the wraps on her right arm so you wouldn't be able to see it every person part of the clan does not have a tattoo all over their body it's only on their right arm. And any of the other Jinx figures never had bear arms to have the tattoo seen

good review bro she certainly look nice, quite articulated I d be tempted in green camo with boots same for shooter, the sniper I m building an 82 - 83 team + exceptions Duke [84] Nunchuk [88] I looove Nunchuk next to snake eyes! and only essential Cobras, CC is in charge then mindbender and Baroness no Zartan, dreadnoks, or crimson anything I live in a small place, have 4 dios 70 figs + capacity I have around 80, many stay in box I change action figs weekly or about little dusting... 3 lines Joes, Indy, legends, occasional sw, wrestlers, legends on clearance for civilians, I like a movie - cartoon look, some public I share my management because it makes people leave the hobby, some do too many lines... or get tired of 'packed shelves'.... certainly a good topic of discussion to address so now you know... good show bro

Not being a blank but the lighting you using washes out the color and can see bright light on her figure. I like the review how you interact but brightness of light to extreme. I hope you care on input i enjoy the rest sound cool too lol

You get a lot of comments on your videos! I'm jealous! Jinx is a great one to be sure. I don't think Jinx has the family tatoo. She was trained by the Blind Master, who left the clan. If she ever got it, it would have been after Storm Shadow took over as Grandmaster. The swords she came with back in 87 were straight, not curved, which is part of the dispute.

I think they need to put more effort in on Female figures as if they don't we might get another Lady Jaye that stalls the release of girls. there is already some concerns about Vypra and Shooter being headed to Ollies and Ross stores in America. & the same is very likely to happen with Helix too. So it would be helpful if they don't cheap out. This figure is far to easy to skip for me until she's on sale, the terrible new packaging the lacklustre design, unattractive head sculpt boyish boss hair cut, tacky tattoos, muddled racial narratives and general naffness off her presentation as a figure for me makes her one of the worse female classified figures. & she's another Ninja type which seem to inevitably end up on clearance. Heck they can't even get rid of Nunchuck even when he is reduced.

Let's not forget George Lucas leant heavily on his love for Kurosawa films and Westerns when he made Star Wars, the Wu-Tang clan borrowed heavily from Kung-Fu films for their rap classics, nothing wrong with drawing inspiration from different cultures when you're making art.

I never said it was Vypra, I said it possible could have been and stated I didn't have that figure, so there's that. As for Gnawgahyde, that figure buck uses the average Roadblocj/Gung Ho buck, where it's legs make it challenging to pose. Did you see how easy I posed Jinx on one leg? Some figures are just constructed better than others. So perhaps your frustration is unwarranted? Or maybe this channel isn't for you? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
