I don't blame Stanton for being irritated & he even acknowledge that Fliers didn't try to hit him after the game but he can't try to intimidate Fliers from not pitching him inside ever again especially since we saw how Stanton crushed that breaking ball over the heart of the plate.. revenge, payback whatever if you need to call it that you got it with the homer but the over the top antics was shameful. I always rooted for Stanton from a far & still admire his talents. As a Tigers fan who doesn't mindlessly hate on NYY & was glad that he landed their but maybe the Yankees should have signed J.D Martinez instead.& I hate Boston always especially after 2013

From Stanton's perspective, that man on the mound almost ended his major league career, by breaking his skull. The next time Fiers hit him again (And pretty close to the head, again), he's gonna be upset, understandable. Although fairly speaking, Fiers never intentionally hit him.
