Not even 24 hours after our 350 pound Bluefin Tuna got ran over by another boater, I went offshore again with Captain Cam Faria to try and catch another Tuna. Things were different this time - there wasn't as many signs of life and there were TONS of boats. But more importantly, it was just me and Cam fishing together. We didn't have a third person, which meant everything that needed to be done was split between the two of us. To make matters worse, I made a crucial error early on which eventually resulted in even more errors down the line that almost cost us the fish

Great video youngbloods but let me just chime in with some advice from experience! When I was younger, my cousin and I used to go out commercial fishing for giant bluefin tuna on a similar boat as yours. Usually, we just ran a two-man crew and eventually we figured out a great system. That was very efficient. One day, we bought a third person and hooked up on a huge fish. Long story short, the boat nearly capsize and I fell off board onto a 600 pound Mako. I literally could feel it dorsal fin under my feet. Could’ve gone wrong so many ways. I almost got wrapped in the line and nearly drowned with all the clothes I had on my body. My advice. With a small built like that 2 man crew is the safest and d best bet. We still fish with this boat so many years later but gonna get a bigger boat finally soon

even going for smaller tuna is an amazing experience - I have been deep sea fishing my whole life - never caught a tuna as big as these guys but caught plenty of enormous king fish etc - such an envigirating experience. and the eating afterwards!
