Your primary weakness will be all of your exposed hydraulic hoses on your arms, if you were to encounter battle. Without your arms, you will be like a tank with no cannon. I would redesign new arms with (strong, light titanium) plate armor on the arms covering the hydraulics before encountering battle. Titanium should be cheap to recycle after an initial investment. .....I nerd out on this stuff. I wish I could do what you do.
@coreytaylor4476 жыл бұрын
yeah, the hydraulics is just exposed for storage and easy access at the moment, during a battle it would definitely be covered up in at least steal armor

I would of re-purposed it to a machine that worked at contracting sites and lumber yards. It just seems like it would make that type of labor a lot easier. If not shipping docks. Probably make a killing if you could get a contract to mass produce it. Basically have a fleet of ware houses that rented mass produced versions of it out for just that purpose. Probably even as a disaster relief machine to help move vehicles and remove heavy debris off the roads. If not heavy beams on contract sites. Imagine a building falls and people were trapped in a basement. That probably would be best suited for the task.

You guys have a very expensive huge mech suit. Use some over the top adjectives. Make the thumbnails more mysterious. Peak peoples curiosity. Giant, Robot, Crushes, Piano. Guess the reason nobody is building more giant robots is because it would actually be deadly to the pilots. There is no way to actually keep them safe if the idea in fighting these things is to destroy other 10 ton robots. The squishy blood balloon inside it, called a human, would get popped before the bot was destroyed. That's why you scripted the one real fight it has had, isnt it? These will never be entertaining unless real damage can be caused. Cant afford to fight it, cant afford to have it destroyed and repaired. Loved the idea guys, but It feels the world just isn't ready to invest itself into your hobby just yet. you're 30-50 years ahead of your time.

The arm movements are stiff, and the exposed hydraulic hoses are a big problem. Also the machine looks lightly armored, having tracks helps displace weight allowing for heavier armor plate. all in all, coupled with what I've seen of your machines before, adeptus titanicus you are not.

well yeah, its for easy maintenance access, as its not planing to go into combat any time soon and the armor would just be a pain to try to work around

Why don't you just take the pilot out of the cockpit and make it a giant drone battle instead? Giant robot battles with pilots in them would just be a blood sport and I can't see present day investors falling in line with that? Besides, that way you can have actual destructive weapons lol

I’m going to play devils advocate, mate I love big robots and the work you’ve put into this. But if anyone feels the same as me, braking things like this is really boring. Think of all the money you’ve spent to do what you could do with an excavator or bulldozer. I think you should explore the construction side of things, show business’s what this can do that normal equipment can’t. I think making it a show piece is short sighted and in my opinion going to be short lived, as once you’ve seen it you’ve seen it. I really do hope you can find a market for this, because I don’t want to see this sort thing disappear. Good Luck for the future.

@@GoGunCo That's the main issue you folks had from the start, listening too much to what "everyone" says instead of having a solid vision form the start. You were never a normal software start up that can change the requirements according to what the user wants. You don't have a phone app that can be refactored and re-skinned in a couple of months. You have a mech that takes years and millions worth of work to build and modify. Honestly I would rather have non-destructive paintball style fights with this thing, but you shouldn't listen blindly to me either. Plan ahead and stick with it.
