Daniel Jenkins anywhere from 10000 to 20000 size reels (shimano sizing). Usually using 65 lb braid. It just takes a while to bring them in. Last year we fought what was probably a 60 inch bluefin on a saragosa 10000 and 50 lb braid for over 2 hours but lost it under the boat

Lonewolf it varies greatly. This year we had 100 inch bluefin 3 miles off the beach and sometimes you have to go 80 miles out
