That’s why many manga exclusive abilities are already present in DB Heroes arcade games. The primary factor would be merchandising licensing, so characters are the main issue.

you need ssj3 or above characters to stagger, future gohan was a wimp with a mer normal super saiyan, and arguably one of the most letdowns characters ever, no body gonna even care such a poor handicapped version of Gohan exist, especially over the more badass Gohan versions, like saiyan saga gohan, Cell saga gohan, Buu saga Gohan, Buuhan, and the upcoming Black Gohan and beast gohan

I would start as any Saiyan character, then transform into a Great Ape as needed. As far as I’m aware Kid Goku (Dragon Ball), Raditz, Turles, Nappa, & Vegeta (Saiyan saga) were all able to transform into Great Apes in BT3, so I don’t see why that wouldn’t carry over.

If its anything like the past, then depending on the giants you face, you will not necessarily need to be SS3 to make them flinch when damaged. SS1 Goku definitely could dog walk a great ape vegeta. You had to be there to know what im talking about when it came to the power scaling👍🏿

It's for game balance. If they gave most of the cast the ability to bypass one of the main benefits of playing a Giant, then there would be reason to play as Giants because they'd be useless.

Most touch wasnt that heavily game changing and i was more of a ragingblst 2 player then a budokai player. I can see the game flopping. Cant really compare the 2 cause the scaling and the mechanics are totaly different seems to also mimic xenoverse 2s ability slots. Basicly making this game a throw up of all other games and tryna throw all this dumb crap in that isnt gonna work. I can see this game dieng in a few months and everyone regressing back to budokai.

It should be SS2 and above. SS3 seems alittle sketched since alot of characters outside of the main casts don't have that many transformations, but skill is gonna make the difference here. So let it roll.

if its like in previous game is not wise avised to transform immediatly into giant form because you will not be able to revert backto your previous form meaning if your opponement is good againt giant you can not regain your mobility to counter attack.
