That protest encampment has to be one of the silliest sites ever. If it was an ancient mixed broadleaf and conifer forest facing destruction, that would make sense. But banging on about saving a commercial conifer monoculture plantation that was always destined to be harvested is simply ridiculous, not to mention perverse.

Will the Tesla shuttle train eventually just run between the factory end and the public train station? Also I am interested in the plans and eventual development of the railyard for transporting cars to off-site destinations (rather than and/or in addition to the current semi-truck auto haulers). I hope you will follow that closely.

Those tent structures might be for end of line. As the cars come out from the factory they go to the end of line for final checks before transportation, as they do at Texas. if you look at your video you can see the shapes that are forming. They appear to be much wider than this new expansion is currently showing. Only a guess but that is my opinion..

@@two_tier_gary_rumain It is just a small train station train station on the rail line between the cities of Erkner and Fürstenwalde. The villages of Grünheide are nearby, but happened to be not directly on the rail line. Those people use the rail line anyway though. Now with Tesla the station is much more important, which is one of the reasons why it will be moved. At the new location it will be directly in front of the planned new production building. Also, there will be a new main road next to the rail line, with a bus station and park-and-ride parking.

Oh, I thought they you meant the other tents.... In case you were wondering.... They are paid protestors, most likely by German legacy auto makers or the unions. They 'care' about these trees/crop that were planted for pulp and paper.

Das Rangieren kostet viel Zeit und Mitarbeiter , aus logistischen Gründen wäre es vorteilhaft, dass die Verladung unmittelbar hinter der Endkontrolle stattfindet. Was Tesla in Texas macht, ist ziemlich aufwendig. Ob sie wenigstens den Tunnel benutzen, um die Neuwagen auf kürzestem Wege auf die andere Autobahnseite zu verschaffen? Glaube eher nicht . Nur damit das Gebäude direkt an der Autobahn steht, wurde auf eine logischen Verladeplatz direkt an der Montagehalle verzichtet. Man merkt immer wieder, dass es bestimmte Qualifikationen in den USA einfach nicht gibt. # Wenn ich mir die Videos aus Kalifornien anschaue, ist das für mich die pure Folter als Verkehrsingenieur .

Die Bautätigkeit hat sich stark verlangsamt und im Moment schaut nix danach aus, als ob man überhaupt für den 2. Bauabschnitt ( oder 3.) weiter etwas vorbereitet. Aber kein Problem, solange noch irgendwas was gemacht wird, hat die operative Führung vor Ort noch was zu melden, erst wenn nix mehr zu sehen ist, dann mache ich mir Sorgen. Der neue Bahnhof wird dann Anfang 2026 eingeweiht , das passt ja ganz gut, bis dahin könnte der Umschwung in Europa stattfinden oder Europa hat dann ganz andere Probleme. Schauen wir mal. # Ohne ein zweites oder gar drittes Modell in Grünheide wird es aber nix werden, mit 10.000 EH die Woche, die ja Elon mal angekündigt hat. Also nur für D. Das wären dann mehr als 25% Marktanteil in D. Denn die Neuzulassungen werden schon recht bald unter 2 Mill. EH p.A. fallen, wenn die Boomer als Käufer raus sind.

Was aktuell gemacht wird basiert auf vorläufigen Zulassungen für die erste Teilgenehmigung der Erweiterung. Diese erste Teilgenehmiung ist also noch nicht erteilt. Das einzig größere was wir mit der ersten Teilgenehmigung sehen könnten, wäre der Bau der Erweiterung des Gebäudes zur Antriebs- und Batteriepack-Fertigung. Der Bahnhof soll 2026 eröffnet werden, aber nicht Anfang 2026. Ich hab das Datum nicht im Kopf, aber ich meine es wäre im Herbst.

Seit ca. 2 Jahren reihen sich diverse Fehlentscheidungen bei Tesla aneinander, weshalb ja Elon bei der letzten HV noch mal überzahlt wurde. Muss man nicht verstehen. Ich hoffe ja, dass es bald genug ist und er von Tesla loslassen muss, bei SpaceX ist er nur noch geduldet . Da führen schon andere Akteure das operative Geschäft. Er kann sich ja um AI kümmern oder um seine Mars Vision oder bei Trump als Wirtschaftsminister anheuern. Wäre echt lustig, wenn Gott vom Himmel fällt und sich als Fallobst rausstellt. # Fast vergessen, X abwickeln wäre auch noch eine dankbare Aufgabe.
