If you take off the front cover which covers the brain on this little bike, there's an optional 3-speed switch that is not connected however, if you get the switch for it and hook it up it will give you more speed up to 27mph.

They speed limit it so it is classified as an electric bike and not a moped, the electronics can handle it

The reality is a used motorcycle is an amazing deal. And insurance is cheap on them and they get amazing gas mileage too.

Yep, My used, low mileage, '04 VT1100C Shadow was $3,800.00 in 2011. $200.00 / yr insurance in Louisiana. I'll never buy a new bike. I may upgrade when and if I wear this one out or get tired of it.

This dosnt require licence but motor cycle does and you can get this delivered lol. Also charge at home, not dealing with crowded gas station.

Hills are the end for all these things. I live where it's very steep and none of these things are worth a crap up steep hills. I had a 36 volt 1000 watt scooter and I put a larger rear sprocket and it still struggled on our hills.

No, no gears for peddling and under battery power only a variable speed twist grip throttle.

single speed electric motor, no gears. to qualify as a eBike it MUST have a top speed of 20MPH in the US.

Not even designed! They just make some little changes in the visual. If you look at ebikes from other companies you will see they have all the same frame. It's just the "plastic" around it that are different.

Right! The "skeleton" is made in China. You can see all the ebikes like that one has the same frame. Once in the country the companies put the logo on it and do some little changes in the visual.

should ride on pavements and not on the roads. why risk your life? real traffic is unpredictable. all drivers who are got into accidents have a drivers license. passing a driving test does not make one a safe driver. get it?

Why? what good does it do and why spend more money to have it QUICKLY accelerate to the top speed of 20 MPH? You only qualify as an eBike if you have top speed of 20MPH in US so no reason to spend money to get blazing fast acceleration to only, wait for it, 20 MPH...
