Didn't you see him cook Kobe and the Lakers? Mccant is talking pure hypotheticals. Saying resume is Subjective and don't matter when talking greatness makes no fking sense. Numbers are purely objective. Drose is NOT top 5 PG's because he wasn't able to do enough. TMAC over DWade at the 2-guard spot all-time is crazy. You can't just talk about a player's peak only. All his stats increased. Harden and Wade are 2 NBA SGs. You absolutely can compare 2 people who do the exact same job. Top all-time lists are subjective. As long as you submit something reasonable, nobody's personal preference should be questioned. Wade is the better all-around player because he's better on defense. But Harden's scoring and playmaking ability was elite, so that can carry a lot of weight for some people's preference. He's carried a lot of weak teams, made the playoffs every year, racked up numerous achievements and has career winning % of 65%, top 10 amongst all active players. The post-season and regular seasons are separated, with different stats, awards, and records. Winning championships is a TEAM accomplishment and shouldn't be the end all be all for top all-time list, if an individual player was elite statistically throughout their career Wade is always ranked ahead of Harden by most people. But don't act like Harden is just some bum who doesn't deserve to be mentioned amongst the best SGs of all-time

Great cast by the way. 💯 I wish that I caught it live and was able to see the whole discussion. Both sides made good points and I feel like I could listen to both sides make them all day. I feel like Unfortunately they were discussing the same subject but from a different point of view so they could never win the argument or meet halfway until they realized that fact. Rashad was talking about how T Mack was dominant in his position while he played. Top tier, untouchable and his opponents like The Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant would be the first to admit that fact after playing against him for the years that T was in the N.B.A. Unfortunately again, the problem is that as great as Tracy was his career was cut short by injury so we will never know how great dude could have been if he stayed in the N.B.A and didn't have a career ending injury(s). So his pick was partially based on, I don't want to say make believe but hypothetical assumptions given what he had accomplished during his short career. Gilbert on the other hand is arguing about the fact that you can't say that someone is the G.O.A.T, no matter what the subject is about. Until they have a full career. A career including all the up's, all the downs and all the up's and the downs again. Basically he's saying that you can only gage an individuals greatness by looking at their body of work over a long career without making assumptions about the," could have beens', and the,' would have beens." I have to say that I agree with both sides because their arguments are legit from their points of view. I however will say that T Mack cannot be placed above Dwyane Wade with looking at them careerwise. But I can say that in a one on one match up in the gym or out in the park, I would probably put my money on Tracy McGrady because homeboy was a straight beast and would probably destroy D Wade when they were at their prime. Just my opinion as well and just like the G.O.A.T argument I think that M.J summed it up best by saying that we will never know who the true G.O.A.T is because the best of the best have historically played in different eras and against different opponents. With different rules, different accessories, doctors, coaches, medicine etc.
