Since then the closest player to reaching this stat line is Luka this season who’s putting up 52.9, 2017 Westbrook put up 52.6. The reason they aren’t bringing him as the the closest player to Kareem’s stat is because HES NOT THE CLOSEST PLAYER TO KAREEM. This why I’m not really a Westbrook fan. You can’t erase the years of meat riding that guy has gotten. Yet his supporters always try to do so. All people talked about was Russ breaking a record instead of the fact James Harden was having a better season. Gil just racist. Nothing new with him.

Bro look back at how russ played when getting those triple doubles
@SiojaTke8 ай бұрын
"Sombor double" is a term Denver nuggets fans came up with to refer to a near triple double. So when you have a double double and 9 of another Stat, like 12 rebounds 9 assists. WB is #1 on the list of triple doubles and #6 on the list of sombor doubles. Whether he was Stat padding or not, he's the one that looks the most suspicious. There's no agenda being pushed
@Wrestle_Kingdom8 ай бұрын

Because the efficiency is nowhere near Luka's or Jokic's. A triple double is cool, but if it takes you around 20 shots to get it then it isnt as cool as other people's trip dubs

I've already came to a conclusion on Gil, given the evidence. I know he knows ball. He's not an idiot. I honestly believe he just says shit sometimes. No way you can actually rewrite history like this and act like you're telling the truth. I don't dislike Gil, I just know his takes could be more consistent.
@superSIZEmee8 ай бұрын
Yeah that is almost a triple double, but Westbrook WAS averaging a triple double and ppl claimed he was Stat Padding to diminish his accomplishment. Now that two White players are ALMOST doing what Westbrook already did NOW ALL THE SUDDEN it’s a great accomplishment for a player to almost accomplish averaging a triple double when Westbrook did it & didn’t get the kind of love or respect that ppl are trying to assign to Luka & Jokic who are also BOTH LESS IMPRESSIVE DEFENDERS THAN WESTBROOK…!

What they really mean is "White media" not "media" which is why they conveniently ignore Kendrick Perkins taking Jokic's MVP. So tired of the subtle anti white narratives in sport over and over again. The two best basketball players in the world are White Gilbert, move on.
@leroyflex12588 ай бұрын
I mean the media did hate on Russ and harden a lot about their play style and how relying on them alone wont win. Which was true once Murray took off the nuggest won. Luka is being compared to bron and mj but ppl bashed harden for the same comparison. Also joker is benefitting from his coach letting him play point center. Similar to j Kidd let Giannis run point power forward.
