Nice to see Gilfach again Mark. We visited on a convoluted journey back home after visiting Blorenge, 'twitching' a Marmora's warbler that should've been residing somewhere by the Mediterranean. It was a beautiful day and my pa was in raptures over all the loveliness there. One bird I associate with Gilfach is the redstart and I actually heard one singing in the background on your film. Happy memories and thanks for sharing. ATB, Chris

This was so lovely Mark, a great isolated location and so good that you can make a coffee there at the information hub. Love that it used to be a Medieval farm, it looks so atmospheric with the spring water . Nice memories of Andrew and Polly and the robin from a previous visit . Your camp spot looked beautiful and I agree that its not possible to make videos all of the time. We go out so much walking but rarely film it except a photo for our own memories. Good that Liz started this project after the first bidder couldnt carry it through. The singing birds here were so beautiful, such a fabulous place to visit and I loved the photos of you and your brother hiking. That was great relaxing Sunday morning viewing, ( I can't leave another like but I'll leave this 🙂 👏🐦) ~ Anna

Thanks Anna for your kind words about me and Paul too. Glad you found it relaxing. Have a great week ahead. Mark

How nice that there is trust to make yourself a coffee and make a contribution. I would always give more than the price of a coffee as a thanks for the trust. You don't need to go back to the medieval period to find accounts of families living in the same room as their cattle. This is the same scenario as my father in law. Hats off to Liz and colleague for saving this building. Interesting that a fresh water fish can adapt to salt water, what a process. I'm glad you made this video, Mark, I always learn something each time!
