If any of you are into graphic novels I highly recommand reading Osamu Tezuka's Adolf (Yeah that's the guy from Astro Boy) it is a very intelligent and artistically compelling critique of authoritarianism, propaganda, discrimination and national socialist doctrine

The thing is that it would never have happened if Communism had actually won, but they failed. It was embarrassingly defeated by neoliberalism and allowed to feast on its corpse, summoning symbols of change and progress while keeping things the same which only accelerated decay and allowed Fascism to re-emege from its grave Leftism will refuse to take accountability for its own failures but in truth, they are at fault for the resurgence of right wing extremism as much as Neoliberalism is

There is no "right wing extremism" anywhere in Europe actually. Only in Argentina maybe, due to Javier Milei.

@@Historia.Magistra.Vitae. You are a bit naïve, just because they haven't broken into the Mainstream and garnered political success doesn't mean that they do not exist, the current political and social issues in Europe are ripe for the return of such beliefs under the banner of historical revisionism and facilitated by the failures of liberalism There's third position movements gaining more adepts and growing as we speak and they will continue to gain momentum as political stability in the West decays further You'll come back to this comment section in a couple of years and realize how much of a clueless and arrogant fool you were for not seeing the obvious signs

@@theoreticalpuppets let me know if there are any useful introductory textbooks or beginner guides to get into the ideas of Deleuze and Guattari for humble philosophy students like me without any knowledge of their ideas but some general background in continental philosophy. often jumping straight into the books can be intimidating
