Please, that's nothing more than a plot hole. Edit: there are many cases (a ridiculous amount... seriously, almost every episode) where the gilmore girls acted like complete selfish morons. Of course: a show is a show and it has to make money, but if you watch this and you view this as anything other than feminist propaganda, you're either a child or incredibly naive
