So much of this boils down to LeBron CLEARLY being a person who enjoys being liked, while Jordan and Kobe were not. LeBron has always been seen as more caring of people, in general, while Jordan and Kobe seemed absolutely maniacal about winning, which meant crushing even teammates, if necessary. That's always been the perception. Players might not have feared LeBrons personality, but they ABSOLUTELY feared his game. Players, Coaches, even franchises.
