I remember this episode so well. It was a favorite of our family-- we struggled with weight issues, so we could relate to the Chief and Nell's problems. We laughed hysterically at the PORKO scenes, and the pig-out in the kitchen. When the episode re-ran, I recorded it using my tape recorder next to the speaker of the TV (it was the early 80s, *ahem* gimme a break!) I still have that cassette. You can hear me laughing like a hyena in the background during the show. I was a strange kid. ;-) Thank you so much for posting this and refreshing a lot of great memories!!

This is a comedy show. Let's not get carried away. Funny but I only remember the last part when Nell and the chief started eating everything,🤣. Kinda what made this show fun. You learned something. I remember this one friend in school she got teased a lot. You never saw her eat. Years later I saw her again. She'd lost a lot of weight. She said to me. You know in school how I got picked on in high school how they said I was pretty but they was afraid to ask me out. I said yes. She said. I had a thyroid problem. My body don't burn calories. all those years and had they did the right blood test she could of been treated with medication. That her mom had a illness it seemed like 3 of the girls had have surgery but she was the only one who kept gaining. But with having proper diagnosis, surgery and medication. She learned to handle her weight. Sometimes we don't know. It might be a case where one over eat or eat too much of the wrong things. Support groups are good. No matter the problem, you have to do it for you.👍💯💜. ✌🙌🙂🖐. Nj.
