Akantorz if you've ever read the book series called the Demonata(i think thats the name haven't read it in a long time) sakurai would actually be playing the chess game in that book where the two players play on 5 chessboards and can only use their turn on a single board (normal chess but you have to decide what board to use your turn on) and win a total of 3 of the boards. This chess game in particular is played by a demon lord who likes to makes deals with people on the condition that if they win they get what they want.

In January I took notes for jab desyncs' frame data out of dash and out of shield. Here it is: FROM DASH: • Works: frames 6-13 of the dash • Frames 6-8 you only need to jab and Nana won't act. • You'll need to buffer something with Nana for the desync to work frames 9-13 or else she'll jab too. • Jab hits frame 18 after initiating the dash, no matter when you input the jab. FROM SHIELD: • Works: frames 3-13 after Popo drops the shield • Desyncable from frames 3-5 without buffering Nana. • Desyncable only by buffering Nana: 6-13 • Jab hits frame 15 after dropping shield; Hits frame 16 if you jab frames 12-13 after dropping shield. • Frames 12-13 are only cancelable by specials, taunts, jumps, or rolls.

This is AMAZING. I just tried it in training with the dash-jab approach. Here's a really easy 40-50% combo that I've gotten near 90% consistent in just 1/2 an hour: Dash, buffer popo's jab, buffer nana's down-b, short dash w/ popo into another down-b, buffer an up-tilt for both, then finish with buffering a jump Uair with nana. Works like a charm at just about any percentage (tested 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120 against ridley). Against a smaller character like Pichu, I did jab, down-b, NO DASH for popo's down-b, side-b for nana, then jump to Fair for popo. Works at all percentages as well, but the timing for Fair is harder at higher percents. This is a huge breakthrough....

Believe it or not, on fast fallers like fox, if you catch their jump, you can jab into side special, into side special, until you reach the other side of the stage. It’s a true combo

So all my IC mains know how at lower percents up-tilt to up-air is true? And how at percents where up-air will kill, it no longer true combos off of up-tilt? Get a blizzard freeze, spaced correctly so you can dash-popo jab-Nana up tilt-double jump up air. Kill confirm off or blizzard and it's an alternative to the much harder to pull off and untrue (although less cheesey) footstool off of the Nana up tilt.
