Most enjoyable! Altho the recorded sound is not wide-ranging Gina Bachauer shows lots of variety of mood, very naturally flowing, unmannered and beautifully played.

Lovely, although I've never heard a recording of Bachauer's that reflected what she was like 'live.' I heard her in three recitals and twice with orchestra (Mozart C-minor Concerto, Rachmaninoff Third). Her magisterial stage presence held all in thrall while her range of tone and dynamics equaled or exceeded that of many other famed artists. Backstage she was as gracious as Horowitz and Rubinstein.
