I thought of traveling to Benin city purposefully to eat this black soup, after a you tuber showcased it 2 years ago from Benin city. I was curious about what makes it so black, but you have revealed it to me today. I think the Germans are quick to adapt to some things in Africa. I've seen many of them eating our local food. Your guest there is quite a humble man, he's willing to learn something new.

Since you are blending the scent leaves, you dont have to pluck it from the stem, just wash it and put in the blender.Stem of leaves are has more nutrients, should not be wasted.Soup look delicious though.❤Thanks.
