Hmmmm, yummy, seems like this is everyone's favorite cookie, mine too lol. A little tip for that lastige mosquitos, dip a cotton bud in some dettol, put on your pillow and you will have a peaceful sleep, and it smells nice too, but repels mosquitos 😉💕

Thank you Fatima. three quarter cup of salted butter but if you use unsalted then add teaspoon or half a teaspoon of salt depending on your taste one cup of caster sugar one large egg quarter cup of molasses two cups of cake flour two teaspoons of baking soda four teaspoons of ginger you can three teaspoons or even more teaspoon of cinnamon pinch of clove regular sugar with cinnamon for rolling First loosen up the butter. Add cup of sugar and mix this on the two number two setting of your mixer for three minutes. Scrape the sides. Add molasses. Mix this through until combined. Add egg. Mix that again until well combined. And that's basically the wet ingredients. Adding the dry ingredients: Mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, clove (optional) and two teaspoons of baking soda. Mix this through until it's combined. Then mix the dry to the wet with a spatula, don't have to be put in the fridge. Add half of dry to the wet. Mix through until combined. Add the rest of the dry ingredients mix it until all combined. Form into balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar (made with normal sugar). Bake At 190 C , 385F For 15 To 18 Minutes Depending On The Oven.
