I see the tap to pay system in many of these videos. Would it be common to see Apple Pay or Google Pay accepted or mostly just local Japanese payment processors?

The tap to pay system can be seen at many locations these days such as buses, grocery stores and restaurants. I read somewhere JR lines would introduce the tap to pay system within a few years ?
