For me it’s the fun, pettiness and chaotic good that keeps me coming. Plus he’s so well-mannered GingerGM never fails to mention his choice of beverage.

Great to see some new content GingerGM. You're my favourite chess streamer!! I'll look to purchase a Chessable course or two. Which ones would you suggest for an intermediate player (around 1800 on Lichess)?

This game was suspicious. He played the opening not at 2100 style, yet he outplayed a GM in the middle game and ending. Something was a little off about it all.

Take a look at his account, seems like he only plays cheaters.

0:50 I thought this is what people play when they don’t know how to play against the Sicilian. That can’t be true of a Chesscom 2100, surely?

Opponent's play was real suspicious here. Moved very quickly and took almost the same amount of time for each move.

Surprising loss, but 2100s are very strong players, even if they're not titled. Assuming he's genuine, that is. Pretty new account so maybe a bit suspicious?

A BIT? This is an obvious cheater I can even see how he’s trying to hide it.

Dude's account is only like 2 months old. I always find it suspicious when someone with such a new account plays so well. Like where was this guy playing before?

Very strange account. If you go through his recent archive, he's got a history of playing other brand new accounts and losing to them, many of which have now been banned. You'd either have to be extremely unlucky to keep getting paired with new cheat accounts or you're pairing yourself with them on purpose because they're also your accounts... Also, all his other games are wins... 🤔

Am I the only one who thinks his opponents were cheating in this and in the previous one? Please comment if you agree or disagree. Maybe it's like a soccer team - you like your team so you automatically think the other winner is 'a cheater', but still, I know how online chess works - people make mistakes, the higher-rated players just make slighter mistakes, and a lot later in the game - as shown in Danya's speedruns. My suggestion to the GM is as follows - either to play a friend, or to play a very tricky gambit that is very new or rare, and if the opponent knows the exact refutation then he's a genius - wasting his time online instead of helping the CIA or Interpol, too bad...

which particular move or moves do you think were computer-generated, and why?

@@KF1 e4-e5 - too creative, people don't normally break their pawn-chain, with a perfect follow-up. Bc4 - Bowdler Attack, at 2100+ level.. idk.. At previous game - Myer's Attack... (e4 c5, a4!?) that's giving away White's advantage on purpose. Bg5 - who plays it? what's the point of it? taking away g5 from the f3 knight, threatening nothing, neglecting b2. that's not even a beginner's move, that's just not a move - there's no point behind it. Bc4-b5 - reminds me of the Carlsen - Hans game - where the latter just calmly count-attacked as if Carlsen's attack was nothing. GingerGM has courses on tactics (chessable), I think he can spot them better than anonymous. you can see from min. 6:50~ that GingerGM tries to calculate more and more options, but he has nothing - just like Danya describes it - you make one little mistake and it's Over, and None of your ideas are even close to working - that's how he spots it's an engine. - The fact that after Bb7 Nd6 that b7 bishop has no squares and it's all perfectly locked.. and if you let the b7 bishop be captured the queen is threatened too - so you can't even do any tricks... all this he saw from e4-e5? for real? I saw a game between Shankland and Nakamura (Chess960) and Nakamura missed a 3-moves tactic and Shankland won at once. But these guys play the weirdest openings and don't miss Anything... It looks like making mistakes on purpose in the opening in order to confuse the cheat-detector. I rest my case.

@@KF1 Qe1 and Rab1, Qe5-e3, also look pretty non-human to me. g2-g4 is.. he ignores the development of his rooks while GingerGM already has a battery. 13:09, Forced to rectify the pawns and lose them, walking with an exposed king the whole game. Qf3-e3 and Qa5-a6 aren't normal (hard to explain why, too small, not diagonal - that's not how people normally use a queen, let alone against rooks). c6-c7 came too quickly - his king is exposed but he didn't need to calc. anything.

Obvious cheater. Not once was he behind in the game. The dummies who pick the top move each move aren’t who I’m worried about. It’s the cheaters like this who hide it and escape bans.

Those games against that 1100 guy which he nearly lost all of them confirms this guy is a smart cheater. I mean Bowdler Attack? That already rung my alarm bells.
