I’m so with Tam. Have a backup plan because many of these bosses be knowing your worth but are not comfortable paying for it
@ElizabethPerez-vv1jd4 жыл бұрын
When I got promoted I laughed at the pay they offered me, i apologized then simply said, “call me when you are ready with a $$$ worth my time.” I hadn’t even walked out of the building and I had the salary I wanted and more. My boss however did make a comment, he called me “aggressive” but I’ll be aggressive any day of the week with a nice salary. I’m assertive not aggressive.

It is not only limited to ladies also us young men who enter or are new to the workforce are scared to negotiate. So I am very proud and happy for you as a young men and will also feel inspired by you so thank you for your story. And men and women should work together rather than always blame men, because we have no say and control either. Take care

RealTakerslady but also there’s many factors that play into their salaries especially based on other things they’re doing outside of this job that can affect how high or low the salary can be for their personal contracts... Jeannie & Adrienne both have many different sidegigs so I can understand why they’re negotiations despite possibly not being as much as he other ladies... they negotiated and AGREED on terms they were OKAY WITH ! Hence why they’re still here

I think there’s this stigma that women have to work TWICE AS HARD to prove they are deserving to work in the same spaces as men without feeling intimidated... but also sometimes have to be very careful of what they say or how they say it cuz certain names will be said to diminish the value of what a woman ( especially a woman of color ) is saying and take away from the actual issue at hand...

Yes ladies and when you first get hired or when pay is brought up ask is it negotiable and when you can renegotiate and when that time comes create a document of your work related accomplishments, all the work you put in including extra work that helps,if you do anything outside of work for the job everything counts and ask for what you want..oh and also before that it's good to know what the top pay is for the position so you have a good idea of how much is is beneficial.Also if you help with client retention,sales,saving on losses...all that.Be brave and ask.Doing this gave me double pay.

Honestly negotiating pay and the interview is always so awkward and it wasn’t until recently where I realize that in any company that I am in I am one of the best workers and it’s not being cocky it’s just been reality I’ve noticed that I would get the same compliments and people will notice different things about me that to be honest I didn’t know how important and worthy I was Before I began looking for work I honestly was never satisfied with how much I was getting paid because subconsciously I knew that could I could always do better and so thank God that I was blessed with a job that now is in a healthcare facility that I would love to grow and in such a fun environment but I am not complaining at about the pay anymore and that is definitely going to help me stay there longer and so if your boss can also see that then they are definitely worth worth working for

Can we stop calling opposite sex friends of children their "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" and stop calling them wanting to hangout as "dating". Let kids have friends and play. Let them be kids. Educate them and stay on top of it. But let those little ones play with boys and girls and let it be innocent because it is.
