My wife, Jaclyn, attempts the sideflip for the first time on the ground. I just filmed. She already had the technique and blocking down it was just a matter of landing! I think she would have landed quite a few if it wasn't for the sand which makes it harder to land sometimes.

Just a tip for yall, sometimes trying it from hard ground to hard ground after you get past the first few nervous attempts is the best way. the sand actually does make it much harder to land something even though its much more forgiving on your body.
