Arranged marriages are common and generally are lasting indeed sometimes due to pressure and often bound by tradition and obligation. Thats not a bad thing, in fact most arranged marriages are truly successful with both agreeing to the arrangement, generally not FORCED. People always have a choice...but when someone tries to force their will over another person, they will ALWAYS, 100% of the time, meet resistance and disappointment. Dude, this happens ALL THE TIME. This behaviour and Honour killings are rife even in England where there is a large Muslim community. To learn about it I would rather listen to the stories of the victims and the survivors than read a fictional book. And in that respect I'm talking about all religions
