In 2017, I quit my 9-5 job to pursue social media marketing full time. It's been surprisingly stable since then! I hope this video will help you figure out if this is the right route for you. ❤️ PS - I noticed that the pie chart can be confusing because there are 6 slices, even though I said there's only 5 streams of income. That's because both my guided meditations and presets count as "products" :). The YT and IG sponsorships also count as one category, so technically I only have 4 streams of income since I don't operate on donations (such as Patreon). Hope that makes more sense!

Hey Anh - Beautiful messages and teachings conveyed. This was very valuable to anyone young or old or anywhere inbetween who is thinking of pursuing a career as a social media or online influencer. So many are getting lost with the superficial aspect of it all, much like what happened with traditional roles that in the past were pursued for superficial reasons as well and left many feeling lost and got caught up in the 'glamour' 'status' and 'prestige' of it all. Humans tend to repeat habits of behaviours no matter what the advancements and developments, what is good about it is that we can check in with ourselves, change negative habits, behaviours, and mindset to focus on what makes us happy and do more good in the world. Though there are many challenges in todays world we are living in a more advanced one where many great changes have happened and are happening. These changes are allowing people to pursue what makes them happy, personally and professionally, we just need to check in and ensure we are doing it for the right reasons, and what makes it right is whether or not it adds value and truly makes us happy :-)

Thank you for this-- I'm aware that most of my audience are between the ages of 11-16, and I wish to create a safe space that they can turn to if they feel lonely or stressed. I grew up an only child with parents who frequently fought and I always looked to online friends and personalities to keep me company. I hope that my viewers can find that in me. I'm also pretty open about my anxiety, and will occasionally have little "breathing breaks" in my videos to calm the nerves of who's watching and help them learn some techniques they can carry outside the video space. As content creators, it's easy to get caught up in the monetary hustle of this platform, but sometimes it's great to take a step back and remember what you wish to bring to the world first and foremost.
