One of the dumbest laws ever. Open container does not mean you are drinking. I have gotten 2 open container charges and I don't drink (I am terrified of alcohol entering my body) but my friends do drink. I have lost one friend because I told them I can not get another open container charge and he punched the crap outta me saying he can drink in his car (I was driving his car as I was sober he was drunk). A responsible citizen should not get alcoholic charges when they are driving drunks around as it gets drunks off the road.

@@yamnjam You really don't know much about law, do you? The statute says absolutely *nothing* about how scared the victims actually have to get. It's all about the intent. Did she want to make them afraid of her? I think a reasonable person would say "yes", even if it was out of drunken stupidity, and that would mean she committed a felony, or rather several counts. Also, they in no way elicited her death threats. They only asked which of them specifically she was threatening to kill, but that was after her threats.
