Some of you may already know that I contributed a few musical arrangements to the game Bioshock Infinite. The cover of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" that appears in the game was actually done by James Bonney, the music supervisor that found me online years ago and hired me for the game. So, as my way of saying thank you to Jim, Ken Levine, and the rest of the team at Irrational Games, here's my arrangement of Jim's waltz arrangement of the Cyndi Lauper 80's classic, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

a few months ago I played Bioshock Infinite. I heard "Everybody wants to Rule the World", found out it was Scott Bradlee's work, and only two days after I suscribed at this channel, this shows up. constants and variables, huh?

I discovered it after I went to his concert. Some days after I downloaded one of his songs on the phone and I couldn't find it, so I started searching by artist and I saw "Scott Bradlee and Miche Braden". I thought "which song is it?" and I discovered Tainted Love, which I had downloaded right after playing Bioshock Infinite, was written and played by him. Then I discovered he wrote other songs for the game. (For the record, Tainted Love, together with God only knows, was my favourite song in the game)

@@TheDankLeaf I know right, I can't even explain it, when I finished the game it was all I could think about, I was obsessed in a crazy way with the world, the characters, the environments, and then I played Burial At Sea hoping it would help and no lmao, it just made it worse and made me depressed for a few days. I managed to 100% the game and all the dlc too. Yea man, Cloud Chamber studios is confirmed to be working on the next Bioshock game, unfortunately Ken Levine isn't on the team but seeing as I loved Bioshock 2, I think I'm hopeful this new game will be just as good.

@@Stale_Buns Glad I met someone else that felt the same way as me after finishing the game haha, at the time it seemed that no one else was as obsessed as I was after finishing Infinite. As for the dev team for the next Bioshock, even though we wont have Levine anymore as Director, I have faith that the team can pull it off. I mean, the development team is chock full of devs from previous Bioshock games, and each of them has a high position in which they can impact the game in a significant manner. My only concern is whether or not the game will stray from the core elements of what made Bioshock, well Bioshock. Recent job postings on Cloud Chambers site implied that the game would be somewhat open world, with a dialogue wheel which would probably be similar to something like Fallout 4's dialogue. At least the game looks ambitious from what we've had of it so far, only hoping it doesn't drastically change the Bioshock formula. Thoughts?

@@TheDankLeaf @TheDankLeaf Yea sometimes I wonder if people played a different version of the game then I did, I guess people just didn't appreciate Infinite as much and just wanted more Rapture. Yea I have hope they will be able to pull it off too, many people don't like Bioshock 2 but that was the first Bioshock game I played and 11 year old me absolutely loved it haha even though it was a bit scary for me at that age. I recently replayed it after like 9 years and remembered just how much I loved it. Anyways Levine is working on something new, probably a completely new IP so we have that to look forward to as well. Yea now that you mention it, I was a bit worried when I heard/read about what the next Bioshock game is expected to be like, personally I hope they don't stray much further away from their formula and design of the previous games, sometimes you just want a polished linear experience and not an unnecessarily large world with uninteresting characters. I think we can only wait and see what they have in store for us, if they are able to nail the atmosphere and feel the Bioshock games have and manage to do it with a completely new setting, it would be amazing.

Speaking of the next Bioshock setting, would you be open to London being the next location as the project Parkside “leak”, suggests? Everyone I’ve spoken to so far seems to really be against the idea of London, saying it’ll feel too much like Dishonored. Personally I think London wouldn’t be all that bad, as long as they add some sort of “Bioshock-esque” element to it. A steampunk London setting following the events of the second game with references and callbacks to Infinite while exploring a completely new narrative and introducing new characters sounds phenomenal, at least to me.
