It is, but I took him stating that he’s super polite, as him saying maybe he didn’t *have* to ask Crystal at all, but that he did this on his own accord. Did anyone else take it that way? It seems like it was a very fine line all around and either way it’s bizarre. If my husbands son was texting me asking if he could sit on the sofa, or have a seat at all, at a movie night (it’s not like it was a romantic date with just the two of them, that his son was, “crashing” it was something that many people were attending, so why would he need permission at all? Again, bizarre ”), my response would be to reassure him that I appreciate him showing me respect as the woman of the house, but he’s welcome to any and all movie nights and he can basically sit wherever he wants/has first dibs on his preferred seat! That’s just me though. I don’t know if there’s more to it…? I know there were many lists and as they stated she liked to have control over the guest lists and to add and remove girls/people. This could also have been an example of this. The difference in this though, and why “permission” shouldn’t have been required, was it wasn’t a huge party where they had to cater … adding his son and the plus one or 3 he brought wouldn’t effect the amount of food/booze/etc. needed. The mansion already had a ton of resources there on the daily. And then the NDA’s, all around was strange.

How was she a prisoner yet managed to build herself this "empire" all on her own? It doesn't add up. She played the game, that's what she did. She isolated him to keep people away from him. Maybe people who actually cared and had his best interests in mind. It's called elderly abuse. The will changing when he doesn't have all his faculties. I think she's dirty and conniving and I thought that from day one. She's robotic and repeats the same bland sentences. Nothing about her is interesting and I feel after all this time, she's still insecure about herself and trying to one up everyone else. Keeping Bridget away from visiting, she probably never told Hugh that Bridget was trying to see him. He probably died feeling very alone. I think she's very sociopathic. Just my opinion.

Yep and Crystal saying on her podcast that Hef didn’t want to see Bridget or didn’t even mention her was master manipulator status. She wanted to intentionally hurt Bridget by saying that. You’re right, you already know she didn’t tell Hef Bridget was trying to see him! And maybe Hef didn’t mention Bridget like Crystal said, especially since he was losing his faculties- so what?! You already know he would have been DELIGHTED to see her, even if she showed up unannounced. He was always so much nicer to previous girlfriends that showed up at mansion parties, including kicking people out of his seating arrangement to make way for past girlfriends even! Holly and Bridget mentioned this on the podcast. Ridiculous. Bridget is so fun, anyone would want to see her!
@kellysblackcat
@kellysblackcat 4 ай бұрын
@@deecee7042 you're right. He probably didn't mention the other girls because he knew how she reacted. She denied Bridget from seeing him because she knew she was important to Hef. There's no other reason to keep her away. She's spiteful and insecure. The fact the GND failed with them as the girls also showed her she wasn't as liked as the previous 3 girls. So I think she purposely tried to erase them from Hefs life. I can't stand how she keeps bringing up Holly and Bridget in her podcasts. I don't watch her but I've seen clips of her, and she just sounds high-school petty. She needs to stop denying who she is and what she did. She was a gold digger. She was cheating with other men(allegedly) , she could have left to be with them, but she stuck around to get what she could.

I mean down to her laugh & infatuation with Disney it was all how Holly. Made me feel like she had seen the show previously & modeled herself after Holly knowing she was his #1 & the love of Hef’s life in his later years. It was just as if she committed to acting like her to get what she had. I don’t know it’s odd but if you watch it it’s blatantly obvious.

I just want to say - I LOVE the relationship between yall and Marston. He is such an evolved human, where he’s able to discuss his father in a way that shows he clearly loves and respects his father, but also is able to identify his flaws and problematic behavior, and denounce it. And while others, who weren’t his child, or really even knew him, defend the bad, he’s able to frame it in a specific way that shows he understands the tea. And I think he respects Holly, and knew that she was probably the only main girlfriend, maybe ever, who actually cared and loved Hef, and wasn’t solely there for money.

It’s great to see Marston back on the show. He has blossomed into a handsome young man, and he is well-spoken. I appreciate that while he loves his father, he takes a fair and balanced approach to people’s different experiences with Playboy. I read Crystal’s book, and while I acknowledge that she went through some unpleasant experiences, I don’t think it was as bad as she portrayed it. I think she had more power in the household than Holly and Bridget had when they were there, and I think that Hef was kinder to her than he was to Holly, Bridget, and to an extent, Kendra. I think Crystal is doing “Hef bashing” to sell books. Marston has a very good point. If the experience was so bad, why did Crystal continue to use the “Hefner” name while she tried to gain fame after Hef’s death?

Yes I agree. Holly and Bridget are just speaking the truth. Crystal’s book is like when people accuse someone of sexual assault that didn’t do it, it gives less validity to those that were actually sexually assaulted. I have no doubt Crystal went through some hard, indecent, and dehumanizing experiences at the mansion- but Crystal’s book degrades the validity of those that were abused more heavily by Hef by containing lies. It is okay to call it out, in my opinion

And the way she won't acknowledge that she's got ahead because of his help. Trying to sound like she's self made. Where would she be if she wasn't at the mansion. She played the game and got what she wanted from it. And isolating him in his last years, changing the will, is elder abuse.

Excellent comment. What I like about Holly is she knew full well that there will be people that would turn on her for writing that book, and she 100% acknowledges to this day that she got her fame from being with Hef. Crystal is trying to portray that her success had nothing to do with being Hef’s wife, and she was 100% self made. Let’s be real - if she was “Crystal Harris” and not “Crystal Hefner”, she would still be one of the aspiring stars in LA looking for her next break.

I was a big fan of Bridget and Holly acknowledging Marston’s comment where he said that Holly and Bridget also built their empire from the leg up Hef gave them (even though we know there is a price to it!). At first I thought the comment was a little blunt, but it is true, and Holly and Bridget have expressed gratitude for where the experience has gotten them in life. Unbelievable that Crystal cannot acknowledge she built a whole empire off of Hef’s back, and abused an elder! Also gross that she had the will changed while Hef was mentally declining, and that she runs the Hefner foundation to this day?! How is Marston, Hef’s freakin’ son not running it?! And she has been saying she wants to change her Hefner last name back to her maiden name for like, years now… Change it already!

@@georgehernandez6352she felt nasty, disgusted etc. after the sex because it was involving multiple people, some of which she was treated bad by and didn’t trust. It didn’t involve love/intimacy at all. It was just a weird routine that no one really wanted to take part in besides hef himself. She said she felt used as just a tool for Hef to get off and that’s what Holly and all the other girls were. Plus she, and I’m sure several other girls were uncomfortable with the group sex setting. All the girls would get wasted/high at the club before they all went home to have sex because none of them enjoyed it. That situation is very nuanced. I think they are trying to be fair and be honest about the good and the bad. There was both. People/situations are not so black and white. No person is all good or all evil. Again it’s more nuanced than that. And from what I remember Holly claimed that Hef offered her a pill one night at a club and often offered them to other girls and said that she decided to decline it and said no thanks.

This is odd….Holly’s original book “Down the Rabbit Hole the curious adventures and cautionary tales of a former playboy bunny.” Was literally called “history rewritten” by Hugh Hefner when he was alive. And I was a fan of Holly when she started the rewatch series on KZbin. However I know she likes videos where people trash talk Kendra because she’s liked and unliked them on tiktok. Not to mention how Crystal Hefner burned all those revenge porn photos that Holly was so afraid would leak in “The Secrets of Playboy”. But here you and Bridget are essentially telling people her book and her experiences are fiction and defending Hefner who you’ve CONDEMNED. Called out and shamed publicly and in your book Holly. And you’re here with Marston Hefner who was in and out of his fathers life close to his death who is mad that Hef didn’t give him his inheritance. Mad that Crystal got any money or what he views as his even though she was Hefs wife during his final years. You are attempting character assassination with these statements. Calling her a gold digger when you and Bridget were doing the exact same thing. I mean at least Kendra is honest about what she was doing but you two keep trying to say how innocent and how naive you were to playboy. Attempting to flip everything we saw and even defame the show ‘Girls next Door’ which is the only reason your famous at all. You both are like those ex-Disney stars who are unemployed and begging for an audience to do something and make some money. I mean you spent all your lives leaving playboy behind and now it’s still only PLAYBOY. Holly even has a murder show called “The Playboy Murders”. I’m currently reading Crystals book and I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt like when I read yours despite how much you trashed Hugh Hefner but I guess it’s only okay when you and Bridget do it.

Hef gave adult women a curfew , isolated them from family, took money opportunities away from them, treated them badly…. Now you are defending Hefs honor for crystal doing exactly what you complained about in your book and every interview? Crystal gave him a taste of his own medicine in the end. I’m not saying it’s right but why are you mad about it? She owes no one an explanation the same way no one made Hef explain his reasons from doing what he did to many women. Crystal took advantage of an old man the way hef took advantage of young girls. I give props to Crystal for ripping up and getting rid of damaging photos and videos of women in compromising situations that hef had been collecting.

I'm confused about the double standard here. Is crystal any different to any other girlfriend including Holly and Bridget. Holly wrote a book about her experience, crystal wrote a book about her experience. They both felt trapped. Holly uses the playboy name to make money, crystal uses the Hefner name to make money. To me it's all transactional it's just crystal got a better deal. I feel like the women are pitted against eachother. I wish that Bridget, Holly, Kendra and crystal could all sit down and talk to eachother and not about eachother. I feel like Holly and crystal have more in common than different. I like both yet have reservations about inconsistencies in both people's stories and motivation to be with hef. I just thought this would be a more balanced episode. I thought you would have things you agree with and things you didn't. It just felt all negative. I feel there's alot of one upmenship with all the girlfriends especially the main girlfriends maybe I am missing something but I do feel this was a crystal bashing episode when crystal and Holly have done so much of the same stuff.

Yes. A man with a history of abusing a former gf (Marston)asking a woman why she didn’t leave an abusive situation is rich. Holly is now asking Crystal this same question, when she stayed there for 7 years and complained why people ask her this all the time?!? I think this is a case of victim turned villain. Holly is relishing in the fact that the negative focus is now on Crystal, after she was the one criticized and bullied for years. Holly and Crystal are sooo similar. She looks down on Crystal for leaving the mansion for Jordan McGraw, when she left for Chris Angel. Holly and Crystal were there for the same reasons. They liked the idea of being Hugh Hefner’s #1- it was an ego and fame thing. Plus they wanted the money and lifestyle. End of story. They are not victims of Playboy. They are both victims of their own choices and that’s about it.

@@leahb1233 it just wasn't what I expected at all. Completely agree about Holly asking why crystal stayed? Why she left? What did she want from a relationship with hef? Why did she write a book? I think if Holly had married him she would keep the name all her work since leaving has been playboy adjacent. This podcast is a play on the girls nextdoor. Even down to the leaking ceiling being questioned when Holly has admitted that the floors were grossand hef didn't put any money into the place because he didn't own it. Holly has said she wanted to be the only girlfriend and crystal was criticised for the same thing? Bridget hardly spoke which seems to happen alot on here. I feel like she is proud to have been the main girlfriend and still has that energy with Bridget. It doesn't seem like half and half on this podcast. Holly's photo is larger than Bridget's. I think Bridget has been more protective of hef so I kinda wasn't surprised by what little she did say. I felt listening to this that Holly still feels jealous crystal got married to hef. Sour grapes. Like I said the women have so much in common and so it's very odd to hear Holly be harsh to someone for all the things she did too. I actually haven't heard crystal bad mouth Holly. Let's be real all of the women were there for money so for Holly to be like why did she stay is weird. Holly was offered money to stay which she said she felt insulted by the amount and crystal is meant to have left the wedding because she found the prenup insulting which is alleged. I was actually kind of speechless. You would expect his son to be on hefs side and Bridget to a degree. Holly calls other women mean girls but that is very much how she came off here. They didn't give her the benifit of the doubt in any of it. A bit of balance would have made a way better show. The elephant in the podcast was Holly's book not being mentioned once. Holly also is with a celebrity now and crystal is taking a step back. For sure hef wasn't a good bloke. Noone would have been with him if he had no money and name. This isn't women supporting women it's the opposite. Just weird.
