Yeah i think he just got lost like so many huskies on a walkabout, someone is most likely missing him or maybe someone died. He's also enormous for a husky, maybe he was mixed with some calmer big hound.

@nicenancy7694 Yeah he's kinda sleek but more like he's a bit great dane or another maybe lifestock guardian breed in there. Plus many of those are white like him but he has a long snout. But given what we see in dna testing he might be some unlikely thing like have chihuahua in him and somehow that made him huge, haha

It can happen. And Mals are just as vocal as the Huskies. Their voices are a little deeper (for the most part). I had Malamutes for 40 years. At one time we had 8 in the house. I miss those days.

Judging by his behavior, once upon a time someone loved Rocky and gave him a happy and secure environment. My nightmare would be something happens to me and my animals are just out in the world somewhere. I hope Rocky finds a forever home very soon.

Any human with a large enough space, the health and strength to keep that coat (and the house in which he sheds it) in order, and the funds to pay the vet's bills which invariably accumulate as dogs get older. He's lovely, but he isn't just the right dog for "any human".

Wow 😳 I've never seen u groom a Husky, (even a mix), that was so quiet! He was definitely well loved and cared for by someone, which makes me sad but curious about his backstory at the same time.
