This young man here has done himself proud, from being abandoned on the street by his Mother at age 7, and his Father being in prison, he taught himself how to sing like this. Marcelito is the true definition of perseverance and determination, a true beacon of light to all of us in the world. This man had absolutely nothing but he took what he had and made something of himself, that is success in a nutshell. He is a gift to all of us who can hear him and be mesmerized by his God given talent. He won on Philippines Got Talent, and the first thing he wanted to do was find his Parents. In spite of them NOT being there for him while he was growing up, he wanted to find them which he did and he forgave them for what happened, that is truly a man who has no anger towards another human being in his heart. His wife and child are blessed to have this kind man in their lives, he has stated he is going to be there for his children and is doing just that. he could have been a statistic, but instead he chose the path to success and he has done just that. God Bless this man, his family and all who come in contact with him, we are blessed to have him on this earth and we should appreciate him for what he gives us. Oh and by the way he does this while sitting down, like he is just kicking back at the dinner table with us all.

Weird for a cat specialist I think you can drop like a lot of Americans who don't believe it and yet it's not a joke Marcelito Pomoy the prayer its good he who sings this song with the 2 voices because he is the top of the music because he has this ability to be able to take the voice of all possible male or female singers only by listening to them once and even to make the voice switch simply because he uses a technique well known to people in the profession like months 40 years of lol... he does the head voice and the chest voice at will, because he has been working on this technique for more than 20 years simply because he used to live on the streets since he was 7 years old and to feed this he sang, first Celine Dion and then Andrea Bocelli and then the two with the perfect switch because 20 years on the street he had time to perfect this until a woman found him and even married him and his life as a singer started with america's got talent where he was all the rage see the video and cool.... Even more amazing Marcelito had no vocal training...self taught. He was an orphan and raised himself on the street from the age of seven. Very kind and humble young man. Thank you for a great reaction! Please watch all his AGT performances. 👍🙏🏼

He wasn't an orphan. His mom left the family. His dad went to prison and a prison guard took him in. He was abused there and ran away. At least that's what he said.

Gitana, the fans ahead of me have given you a lot of information about Marcelito so I'll just toss in a few more facts; he is a Philippino whose native language is Filipina, yet he impersonated Celine's and Andrea's voices, in her French-tinged English and his Italian, meticulously. That funny thing he does after the song is his humble sense of humor - the Sound Engineers were teasing him about his "female" voice so he was "removing" it. He has a charming stage presence and does many duets - each time capturing female and male parts flawlessly. He has an incredible album of famous duets on his personal YT account in which he double records the male/female voices. That allows him to overlay the harmonies - with himself. This song "The Prayer", overlay recorded, is spectacular. Welcome to the World of Marcelito. Cheers.

Marcelito has never had any vocal lessons. He was homeless from age 7 and lived on the streets of the Phillipines. At age 18 he realized he could sing the "female" voice. He won The Phillipines Got Talent in 2011 at age 24. He is currently on tour in the U.S. and Canada! I just love him!
