Absolutely true!! What you described about your father...memories through different things especially food are emotional!! I remember my mom , whenever she made pickles and filled them up in jars, she would put hot rice and mix in that utensil and I would love it. Lovely recipe as always. God bless you always

Two tips..towards the end just before switching off we add qtr teaspoon of vendhaya powder (roasted and powdered fenugreek) and a teaspoon of raw til oil..you can reduce the oil used initially also I feel. Raw nallaennai and vendhaya podi enhance the flavor

gargle with warm salt water . Drink warm beverages. have mild soft food Nothing spicy. Maybe just dal rice and soft curd rice . Astimadhu/Liqourice can help .Milk with turmeric and honey can help
