Big up to you brother! You didn't just "read" TRADING IN THE ZONE, you internalized and experienced Douglas's concepts and now they are functional part of your identity. To be honest i believe most traders can intellectually understand the book or key concepts of trading but cannot embody the principles which are exactly what you shared. Reprogramming an average/normal mind to think in terms of probability (as casino operators does) is the greatest obstacle and also most traders rash to master trading without mastering themselves yet you cannot control the market without the ability to control yourself since trading is nothing other than projection of your internal environment or belief system. POSITIVE EXPECTANCY (STATISTICAL EDGE) + LOW RISK OF RUIN (LARGE ENOUGH SAMPLE SIZE) + FLAWLESS EXECUTION (CONFIDENCE DERIVED FROM VALIDATED EDGE ON GOOD ENOUGH SAMPLE SIZE USING PROBABILISTIC MINDSET) = CONSISTENT PROFITABILITY (BEING THE HOUSE). You omitted position sizing & max daily drawdown. Most large enough sample size that guarantees the positive expectancy will get wrecked during periods of loosing streaks without padding it with max daily drawdown restrictions and reduced position sizing
