I'm 65 years of age. ACC doesn't want to know about any of my health issues. If I want to buy health insurance, the companies will cut out most things due to " Pre existing conditions" and the premiums would be astronomical on things they may let through. I'd set up a give-a-little page to help me through.

A drunk driver who crashes can get ACC and covered yet normal NZder's who want help with conditions don't get any help.

I can get health insurance I was told I was too much of a high risk due to having a tumour removed never came back. So health insurance isn't available for everyone possibly also at this point in my life wouldn't have been able to afford it anyway
